LIFE IMITATES ART

A month ago you couldn’t drive down the street in LA without running into a billboard for the new Fox series “Standoff.” “Sex and the City” boyfriend Ron Livingston was heavily promoted as an FBI hostage negotiator having a secret affair with his coworker played by Rosemarie DeWitt. Ratings started high but they’ve been dwindling and producers and actors are scrambling to save the show. Meanwhile it seems the show’s stars have become more than friends. When they started the show Ron and Rosemarie were both linked to others, but they became inseparable on the set. The costars always have lunch together – ALONE together. They’ve been seen touching and whispering intimately when they think no one is looking. It’s the talk of the set and the latest setside rumor has it that Ron and Rosemarie have broken up with their partners and are now both FREE. Coincidence? We doubt it.

This cute actress has been marketed as the next big thing, thanks to her role on a somewhat popular series, but she’ll have a hard time living up to the hype. What will do her in is not her acting – it’s her secret drug problem. She’s addicted to cocaine (it keeps her thin) and it’s ruining her reputation – she’s late for appointments, moody on the set, and looks worn out. Ironically, she’s often been compared looks-wise to a slightly older beautiful actress with the same problem.

    Whodunit?? Guess who.

  • It happened in 2000: One of Whitney Houston’s alltime favorite movies has always been the tearjerker “Love Story.” She’s hoping to update and remake the move starring herself and her husband Bobby Brown as the doomed couple originally played by Ali MacGraw and Ryan O’Neal. Whitney realizes audiences might have a hard time swallowing Bobby as the wealthy and refined young man so she plans to switch the roles and have the female character from the right side of the tracks. She’s already working on a script and hopes to start filming before the end of the year. (As we all know, it didn’t work out….)

So, what do you think of that?! DO TELL!
