A GLIMPSE OF JASON MOMOA

One of the perks of living in Southern California is you never know who you might run into at your local grocery store! Since the writers strike has torpedoed his plans to promote his upcoming Aquaman sequel, sexy Jason Momoa is filling his newfound free time promoting his recently launched vodka. We haven’t heard about Jason’s latest business venture until we saw that he’s making an appearance at a Gelson’s (a high end supermarket) in Newport Beach on September 19. We expect a lot of housewives will line up to catch a glimpse of Jason, but it remains to be seen if they’ll buy his vodka. (Speaking of a glimpse of Jason, I had a memorable one back around 2005. I was browsing at the Rose Bowl flea market when I gasped- noticing a very tall and muscular, drop-dead gorgeous man browsing also. I took several steps BACK to take in this incredible vision, and quickly decided this must be the the handsomest man on earth! Then I noticed Lisa Bonet and her mother were WITH him and figured he must be her boyfriend. Needless to say, Jason had no facial hair that day. Since then he keeps that exceptional face covered…with hair.)

ANGELINA JOLIE AT THE ROSE BOWL FLEA MARKET

Wouldn’t you know it. Last month we were at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, but this month we were too tired from partying -so we MISSED seeing Angelina Jolie and three of her kids shopping! What were they looking for? It appears that Knox got some kind of toy cross bow, Vivienne is carrying a blue flower wreath and Angelina has a bagful of Christmassy stuff. Brad’s kids all look like him and maybe they inherited Brad’s interest in vintage and funky stuff.

So how did Madonna spend her Sunday morning? She tried to lose herself in the crowd while strolling and browsing for bargains and antiques at the Paris flea market. It sounds great, but in actuality the Paris market cannot hold a candle to the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena.

JOHNNY HALLYDAY SHOPS THE FLEA MARKET

Legendary French singer Johnny Hallyday took his beautiful young wife Laeticia shopping at Maxfield this week and was surprised when paparazzi spotted him in the parking lot. A few days later he and Laeticia, their two daughters, and several friends from France were seen at the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena having fun picking out vintage clothing and memorabilia. A French vendor remarked “He could never walk down the street unrecognized in France.”

Brad Pitt Hey, Big Spender Kindness Rose Bowl Flea Market

WILL THE REAL BRAD PITT PLEASE STAND UP!

Brad Pitt that is very character revealing. Our guy was sweating in the hot sun at the Rose Bowl Flea Market attempting to sell two high end Knoll lounge chairs. In the afternoon Brad walked up and gasped when he saw the chairs. “I really wanted a pair of chairs like these but I lost them at an auction – they went for $20,000! He said. How much are you asking for them? The guy replied “Fifteen hundred dollars.” Brad looked surprised “That’s ALL?” and added “Will you take twelve?” The seller was hot and it was late in the day, so he decided to accept the twelve hundred. Brad smiled and handed him a check and the guy almost fainted – the check was for twelve THOUSAND dollars! (We’ve always told you Brad was a good guy.)
