WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE ROSE MCGOWAN A JOB?

The woman largely responsible for the #MeToo movement seems to be blackballed in Hollywood for speaking out. Yes, Rose McGowan IS highly opinionated and that might scare a lot of people, but women owe her bigtime for nailing Harvey Weinstein and potentially improving the lives of women in Hollywood now and in the future. Rose admits that she misses performing and feels her career was stolen by Weinstein. She predicted that when she named names, job offers would become scarce, and she was right. Rose (above on the beach in Mexico) still looks great – will someone please give her a decent acting job?

Above, Rose McGowan gave Annabella Sciorra a hug at a NYC event two years ago. We ALL owe Annabella a hug! It takes an ENORMOUS amount of courage for a woman in court to detail her rape story about Harvey Weinstein – and afterward, of course, she was at the mercy of Weinstein’s slimey lawyers who dug deep (without success) in her past to find anything negative Annabella has ever said or done to discredit herself.

We honestly didn’t realize how incredibly brave this actress was to stand up to the most powerful man in Hollywood, the vile Harvey Weinstein. ROSE MCGOWAN IS RIGHT- LISA BLOOM SHOULD BE DISBARRED!

Rose McGowan, and the authors of She Said, have given us yet another reason to despise lawyers. The new book, She Said, was written by the two female New York Times reporters who exposed Harvey Weinstein’s crimes. One of the most horrific revelations was a memo that lawyer Lisa Bloom sent to Weinstein offering to discredit his accusers as mentally unstable liars. Bloom has built a career on representing women accusing powerful men of misconduct, but it is apparent she has no loyalty. She assured Weinstein that she was equipped “to help you against the Roses of the world because I have represented so many of them.” Bloom offered to plant news articles making Weinstein accusers, including Rose and Ashley Judd, look mentally unstable. Even now Bloom is representing two Jeffrey Epstein accusers who should fire her immediately. Lisa Bloom’s apologies are meaningless- her evil and destructive behavior has been exposed. Her mother Gloria Allred must be so ashamed…

ROSE MCGOWAN IS TAKING HER CAUSE TO ROME

We’ve been wondering what Rose McGowan has been up to since she didn’t show up at the Oscars. Fact is, she wasn’t invited, in spite of being THE person who first bravely accused Harvey Weinstein and started the #MeToo movement. Rose criticized actresses who wore black to the Golden Globes in silent protest. “SILENCE IS THE PROBLEM!” she pointed out. Former Oscar winner Mira Sorvino made a significant appearance at the award show with Ashley Judd. Both women learned recently that their careers WERE badly damaged by vindictive Weinstein. She missed the Oscars, but Rose was in Rome with fellow Weinstein victim Asia Argento preparing for the Women’s Day March today.

Today Rose McGowan was called out for criticizing Alyssa Milano because Alyssa sympathizes with and supports her “friend” Georgina Chapman Weinstein. Rose McGowan happens to be DEAD RIGHT. Georgina Chapman married Harvey Weinstein in 2007 – his abuse of power was already legendary in Hollywood. She knew EXACTLY what she was getting into and there’s no doubt that Harvey gave up a truck load of money and promises to obtain an attractive wife. She was bought and paid for. Now hiding out, Georgina claims to be “protecting her children” – has she forgotten that SHE CHOSE HARVEY WEINSTEIN TO BE THEIR FATHER? Rose was right to the point when she tweeted to Alyssa: “Maybe you and Georgina can call Camille Cosby.”

DID ROSE MCGOWAN’S ACCUSATIONS DRIVE BEN AFFLECK TO DRINK?

It sure looks that way. No sooner did Ben Affleck, a close buddy of Harvey Weinstein, come out and announce in a lengthy tirade that the allegations against Harvey “made him sick” and were “unacceptable,” than Rose McGowan called him a bold-faced LIAR. She tweeted that Ben knew ALL ABOUT Weinstein’s sexual shenanigans and harassment of women and tolerated it for years. Nice work, Rose. As for Ben – he spent the afternoon at his LA recovery center….

ROSE MCGOWAN IS PERFECTLY HAPPY WITHOUT HAIR

We though it might be a whim when Grindshouse star Rose McGowan, 42, shaved her head back in November, but she liked the “liberated” feeling so much that she’s kept the look. Rose IS one of our favorite feminists – she was first to call out Fox studios for releasing a poster ad for “X-Men: Apocalypse” picturing Jennifer Lawrence’s character being strangled. Rose pointed out that the studio was using casual violence against women to market a film. And yes, Fox DID pull the poster out of circulation. Meanwhile, Rose’s husband of 3 years, artist Davey Detail, seems to have no complaints about her missing hair.

Nothing gets past our favorite feminist Rose McGowan. Just three of the 20 films selected for the Cannes Film Festival were directed by women. The festival director said “Don’t blame us “ – implying that the problem is rooted in Hollywood. But Rose isn’t letting them off the hook. She told The Hollywood Reporter “Those 17 who are not women should be forced to walk down the red carpet in high heels!” (Remember the appalling controversy last year in Cannes when women were not PERMITTED on the red carpet in flat shoes!) Rose says “There are so many levels of embedded misogyny that people don’t even realize. It starts with ‘You HAVE to wear high heels’ and goes to ‘We don’t accept you as a filmmaker.’” Hey Rose, when you’re RIGHT, you’re RIGHT…

ROSE MCGOWAN: “NO HAIR DON’T CARE!”

Rose McGowan continues to amaze us. We totally support her views against Caitlyn Jenner as Glamour’s Woman of the Year, but she was forced to quiet down when online haters disagreed. A few days ago she “liberated” herself by shaving her head! Rose documented the event on Instagram and captioned the “after” photo as “The alien has landed.” Last night she and her artist husband Davey Detail showed off her new look at Chateau Marmont and she looks quite beautiful. We love the outfit too.
