Rosie O’Donnell and Kathy Griffin and Gloria Estefan created quite a stir when they had lunch together in Miami and then went for a spin in Rosie’s Chrysler convertible. You may wonder: what do these three have in common? We do know that Kathy and Gloria were guests on Rosie’s unfortunate variety show “Rosie Live!” (It was cancelled after one episode) last November. Maybe Rosie’s cooking up something new for the girls.

It happened in1998: Rosie O Donnell has decided she and her pal Madonna should team up in Las Vegas as the female version of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Or is it Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis? Whatever – Rosie reasons that since Madonna became a mom she doesn’t like touring, but still loves performing. Las Vegas is the perfect solution. Rosie can tell the jokes and Madonna can sing. Rosie’s been looking for a way to make it up to Madonna since backing out of their planned movie “Chicago,” and this brilliant idea might smooth things over. So far, Madonna’s not interested.

Rosie O’Donnell is talking to Jenny Craig. She’s been carefully considering her career moves after her successful departure from The View, and realizes she has a reputation for being confrontational. She wants to maintain her popularity and soften her image a bit, and Jenny Craig could help. Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli have benefited from Jenny Craig deals, and it seems there’s nothing the public likes better than to watch a celebrity battle with her weight. For career reasons, Rosie would like to be less controversial and more likeable, and working with Jenny could be the solution. PLUS, she’d get rid of some unwanted pounds.

CLAY AIKEN: LET'S FORGET ABOUT IT

How come no one is talking about the fact that Rosie O”Donnell blatantly OUTED Clay Aiken? Poor Kelly Ripa is being chastized for her perfectly normal reaction to Clay clamping his hand over her mouth to jokingly “shut her up” on her own TV show. No female TV host WE know of would be okay having a guest clamp his paw over her mouth and having her lipstick smeared on live TV. Granted, Aiken meant no harm – it was just rather tasteless, and Kelly’s gripes about “where his hands have been ” are perfectly normal. But Rosie’s take on the incident – that Kelly’s protest was homophobic – is laughable. In calling the incident “homophobic,” Rosie carelessly (or deliberately?) OUTED Clay Aiken, who has made it clear he wants to keep his sexuality private. WE bet Clay is VERY upset with Rosie for making an issue of this, and wishes it would go away.
