CAMILLA : IN CHARGE OF MAKING PEACE IN THE ROYAL FAMILY

The old adage a woman’s work is never done will likely apply to soon-to-be Queen Camilla’s next project. A royal insider says that Camilla has been tapped to play peacemaker between her husband King Charles and her stepson Prince Harry! The firm (the business entity behind the Royal Family) is eager to make peace between the feuding royals before Charles’ coronation on May 6, so they’ve turned to Camilla. As unlikely as it sounds (since there’s no love lost between Harry and his stepmom) my source explained why it makes sense. “Although she’ll soon be Queen, in many ways Camilla is still an outsider who can sympathize with some of the things Harry’s wife Meghan Markle experienced. THAT’S why she was chosen to reach out to Harry.”

QUEEN ELIZABETH: THIS IS HOW ROYALS HAVE FUN?

If anybody is steeped in tradition, it’s Queen Elizabeth, 92, and after all these years she still thinks a “hunt” is a good time. Imagine getting up at the crack of dawn with freezing temperatures, and trekking through the misty woods in search of birds to shoot. There are plenty of cute dogs around, but killing quail (or whatever birds these Brits hunt) just doesn’t seem like that much fun. The Queen (with a hood and walking stick) was having such a good time with her friends on vacation, however, that she didn’t even go home when the Duke had his driving accident. By the way, the Queen drove her own Range Rover to the shoot.

Fashion Meghan Markle Royalty Rules

MEGHAN MARKLE: DOOMED TO A LIFETIME OF PANTYHOSE?

What IS this girl getting into? One of the harder parts of becoming a Duchess can be the Royal fashion rules – suddenly Meghan Markle won’t be able to have a mind of her own. Women are NOT allowed to wear pants for formal occasions and heels are required, but height of heel is optional. No sleeveless or short dresses. Nail polish must be neutral – no colors. Wearing black is discouraged in the daytime. Actually bright colors are preferred so Royals stand out in a crowd for security purposes. Meghan’s messy buns and tousled locks are a no-no – hair must appear “groomed.” Gloves are encouraged at events where Royals must endure many handshakes. Forget about jeans. Perhaps the toughest rule of all is pantyhose! They must be worn ALL THE TIME with those dresses! Of course all these rules apply to walking out in public – we assume Meghan can lounge around in sweats at home in the castle…

HAS PRINCE ALBERT BITTEN OFF MORE THAN HE CAN CHEW?

Wow! We did a double-take when we saw this photo of Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife Princess Charlene because Royalty rarely looks like THIS! Princess Charlene is 5’10” and a former Olympic swimmer, but in this photo she looks like a Hollywood star. It makes sense that Albert would have a trophy wife – for years he was labeled the “Playboy Prince.” When he was younger, Albert LOVED to party with beautiful women – he was linked to models Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, among many others. He also supports two illegitimate kids in the US – one with a flight attendant and one with a waitress – one black and one white. Princess Charlene reminds us of a young Brigitte Neilsen at the Monaco Red Cross Ball Gala, above.

QUEEN LETIZIA OF SPAIN COULD BE A VOGUE MODEL

Queen Letizia of Spain has only had her title for eight months since her husband Felipe VI was crowned King, but she’s quickly becoming a popular and fascinating royal. It’s hard to take your eyes off her. She’s pictured here at a board meeting in Madrid and she looks like a supermodel. Letizia, 42, is Spain’s first Queen who was born a commoner- she has a Masters Degree in Journalism and was a news anchor when Felipe VI discovered her. They have two young daughters. The family lives in the same private home they’ve occupied for 11 years, and Felipe uses the palace as a working place.

It’s a new generation of Royals: King Felipe VI of Spain, 46, just ascended the throne last June. His pretty wife Queen Letizia, 41, looks like a model, but actually she worked as a news anchor before they wed. Their two little girls Leonor, 8, and Sofia, 7, look like the Princesses they actually are. The previous Spanish monarchy was not as popular as the new family.

Even Princess Caroline of Monaco can’t resist a SALE sign. After having lunch at Balthazar restaurant in New York with a female friend, she noticed the MoMA store sale across the street and ran over to pick up a few things. Caroline’s oldest son Andrea Casiraghi recently announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Colombian heiress Tatiana Santo Domingo. (Her grandfather is the second richest man in Colombia.) LEAVE PIPPA MIDDLETON’S BACKSIDE ALONE!

How ridiculous is the claim that Pippa Middleton padded her butt for her sister Kate’s wedding? Yet the story spread like wildfire. Anyone with an ounce of sense knows that fashion-conscious, slender women do NOT WANT big bottoms. The only “expert” quoted for this absurd claim was a random London spa owner – A MAN of course, and who knows more about style and butt pads than a “spa owner?” Nobody consulted with a fashion expert or designer. Women know that well-chosen clothing can enhance the look of one’s body. (We see NO evidence of padding in photo of Pippa carrying Kate’s train above)
