JERRY HALL IS BACK IN THE GAME

Usually when a model is past her prime and her rockstar boyfriend takes off, things go downhill. But not for Jerry Hall! The Texas model had a 22 year relationship with Rolling Stone Mick Jagger that produced four children. Their Bali marriage “ceremony” was declared invalid in court, and Jerry was left high and dry. But not for long. With her kids grown, Jerry dabbled in acting and TV until she hooked up with media mogul (and our former boss) Rupert Murdoch and they married in 2016. Life is good again – Jerry, 62, was photographed arriving at the UK airport after attending the Oscars with her husband.

JERRY HALL IS SHOWING RUPERT MURDOCH HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME

We cannot resist photos of this happy couple – Rupert Murdoch, 86, and Jerry Hall, 60. There’s no doubt that Jerry likes to have fun and she seems to be showing media mogul Rupert how to do it. Rupert was actually our boss at Star Magazine in the late eighties and we met him at an office party in New York where we gossiped a bit. While he owned the magazine it was very successful with nice offices and reasonably well paid employees – many with expense accounts. The Glory Days. After he sold Star it was never the same, so we ARE Rupert fans. Above, Jerry and Rupert at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

RUPERT AND JERRY MURDOCH FLASH THEIR PRESS PASSES

Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall flashed their press passes (just like the rest of us) to enter the fancy Chelsea Flower Show in London. Why would a media mogul worth 12.5 billion dollars need a press pass? Marriage seems to agree with our former boss Rupert – he and his bride Jerry look quite happy and appropriate together. The royal family was also present at the high society event on opening day, along with celebrities and florists…and media.

THEY DID IT! (JERRY HALL AND RUPERT MURDOCH)

That surprise engagement has quickly evolved into a wedding! Former model Jerry Hall, 59, and billionaire Rupert Murdoch, 84, already had a civil ceremony and on Saturday they’ll have a big church wedding. This is his fourth marriage and Jerry’s first. (Remember – she never legally wed Mick Jagger.) She brings four kids, aged 18 to 31, to the union and Rupert has six children aged 12 to 57. This coupling would make a great reality show.

JERRY HALL AND RUPERT MURDOCH: A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN!

Seems like EVERYBODY in LA is in SHOCK about the sudden engagement of Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall. Yep, it’s a big surprise, but when you stop to think about it – it works! He IS older – Rupert is 84 and Jerry is 59. He’s been married 4 times and Jerry has NEVER been married. (She was with Mick Jagger for 23 years, but they never married.) Rupert is a billionaire, but Jerry is estimated to be worth 15 million herself. They started seeing each other over the summer and made their first public appearance together in October. And they seem to be having FUN! (FYI: Murdoch was the best boss we ever had – when it came to company benefits, and don’t forget – he loves tabloids!) We approve of this match!

Alec Baldwin Charlie Sheen Emmys Hacked Rupert Murdoch

LAST MINUTE EMMY SHAKE-UP THANKS TO CHARLIE SHEEN AND ALEC BALDWIN

According to Deadline.com, The Emmys on Fox tonight are in a last minute uproar over Charlie Sheen and Alec Baldwin. Charlie’s arch-enemy, producer Chuck Lorre, doesn’t want Charlie on the show at all, and Alec has already walked off. Alec taped a joke about News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch and the phone hacking scandal for the opening, but Fox nixed the joke – Rupert is their BOSS! What did Alec expect? It’s a very sore subject with Murdoch. (We happen to love and support tabloid journalism – reporters may go too far sometimes, but basically do more good than harm.) Chuck Lorre has pulled every string in the book to get Charlie banned from the show, but the Emmy people still want him to participate – although he may not be given an open mike or opportunity to crack any jokes. Hopefully the drama will liven up a potentially dull evening.

Add one more to the growing list of racist and abrasive celebs – Judith Regan, the most hated editor of ReganBooks, who wasn’t fired over the the OJ debacle, but instead over antisemetic slurs and insults to a Harper Collins lawyer this last week. Reports are in that Rupert Murdoch personally fired her, but we see a Mel Gibson book deal coming soon.
