We have to admit we were relieved to hear that Mickey Rourke, 57, is NOT engaged to marry his young Russian girlfriend Elena Kuletskaya. They did look awfully domestic when they picked out a dog together. Mickey’s spokesperson said the entire “engagement” story printed in the New York Post was NOT true and, in fact, Mickey’s girlfriend’s name is Ana Makarenko. We can’t tell the difference between the two lanky blonde models and we wonder how Mickey got tangled up with them. (Presumably that is Ana, above) Marrying a Russian model around 35 years younger may SOUND like a good idea, but it isn’t, Mickey.

We didn’t realize that Mickey Rourke is a huge star in Russia. The Russians LOVE his bad-boy, womanizing villainous image, and Mickey has started hanging out in Russian clubs and restaurants in LA where he gets loads of attention. For the past six months, Mickey has been studying Russian because he plays a Russian character in “Iron Man 2,” and now that he speaks the language, he’s even MORE popular. According to an insider, Russians treat Mickey “like Michael Jackson” – whatever that means.
