Ryan Gosling has joined the ever lengthening list of actors yearning to be musicians/rockstars – he’s in good company: Jared Leto, Dennis Quaid, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Costner, Johnny Depp, etc. Ryan’s band, Dean Man’s Bones, which is described as goth and spooky, toured the country in October, finishing up in LA. His partner in the two man band is Zach Shields – they met in Canada in 2005 when they were dating sisters. (Rachel McAdams and her sister Kayleen)

This is what happens when you break up with your boyfriend. One of the perks of having a doting sweetheart is never having to worry about schlepping your own luggage. “Notebook” costars Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling recently split up for the second time. (In spite of everybody rooting for them as a couple.) Rachel arrived at the international terminal at LAX and she retrieved and hauled her own suitcases – she didn’t look happy, but she’s making the best of it.

Here’s Ryan Gosling leaving Bardot alone again, where he’s been spinning records on Monday nights. He’s been the subject of considerable ladies room conversation because girls at the club wondered if he and Rachel >McAdams were still together. Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson spent a lot of time chatting with him. Regulars Kirsten Dunst and Mischa Barton never fail to give him a warm greeting. But Ryan never left with anyone. Now it turns out he and Rachel ARE split again, so may the best girl win!

RYAN GOSLING NOT ONLY HAS A PRIUS BUT HE DRIVES IT

Ryan Gosling was seen sampling the noodles at the Thai restaurant Pimai on Franklin and Van Ness the other day. He wore a hip beanie cap and had a beard – maybe he grew it for “Lars and the Real Girl.” That’s the movie where his character falls in love with a doll, and it already has good buzz. Ryan was with a female friend whom our spy says “seemed to be just a pal” and he was driving a Prius. We wonder if his on-again off-again romance with Rachel McAdams is history. They make such a great couple.
