George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is going to need a huge collection of evening clothes for the next few months because George will be taking her to numerous award shows and film events. Last night they went to a film critics’ function in New York and this is just the beginning. George is a presenter at the SAG Awards and his movie “Up in the Air” is getting loads of nominations so he’ll be a fixture on the red carpet at just about every award show. Presumably, designers have been bombarding Elisabetta with possibilities.

We HAVE to wonder what's going on in Lisa Rinna’s head since we saw photos of her at the SAG Awards in this dress with an impossibly high slit . We thought it was bad taste having her spanx or flesh colored underwear on display, but when we were told by people who examined the photos microscopically that she is flaunting bare skin, we were appalled. Consider the psychological implications. Is Lisa really running around in skimpy clothes without underwear like Britney in her crazy days? Is Lisa capable of such a glaring faux pas? Flashing to get attention is not pretty.

MICKEY- TAKE YOUR HAND OUT OF YOUR PANTS!

Mickey Rourke has developed the unfortunate habit of walking around with his hand stuck in his pants. No kidding, if he’s not carrying his dog, chances are his hand is in his pants. Is his belt too tight or does he have a bit of dyspepsia? It could be he’s totally unaware of it, but it looked particularly awkward at the SAG Awards on the red carpet chatting with Kate Winslet. (She pretended not to notice.) Hey Mickey, knock it off!

ALEC BALDWIN: IRELAND FORGIVES AND FORGETS

Alec Baldwin continues to score points with his lanky 13 year old daughter Ireland to make up for his infamous “rude little pig” remark. Ireland was Alec’s excited date for the SAG Awards and she wore a very grown up black dress on the red carpet. Ireland sat in the audience and watched him get TWO awards – Best TV Actor and Best Ensemble in a Comedy for “30 Rock.” It’s safe to say she’s looking at her dad with new admiration.
