Lindsay Lohan is looking a little rough around the edges here. On this particular night she was seen circling her estranged girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house in her car. Eventually she found out which club Sam was at and she went there and followed her home after 2:30 AM. It LOOKS like a fatal attraction, but Samantha isn’t protesting vehemently.

Lovesick Lindsay Lohan is trying to weasel her way back into Samantha Ronson’s life and she ’s not above using Sam’s dog to do it. Lohan was seen leaving Samantha’s house at 6:30 AM with Sam’s bulldog Cadillac. A few minutes later Sam left with luggage for the airport in a separate car. It looks like Lindsay is being ever-so-helpful by dog sitting while Sam is out of town working.

Everybody has their own way of dealing with a break-up. Lindsay Lohan stopped moping (and denying that she and Samantha Ronson split) and headed straight for the hair salon. She walked out with an extra-long set of hair extensions. (And she appears to have dropped a few pounds.) Sam, on the other hand, hung out with her buddy (and fellow DJ) Benji Madden, and chatted over coffee in Larchmont Village.

There's a very good reason why Samantha Ronson put up with Lindsay Lohan’s histrionics for such a long time: MONEY. (The two are supposedly separated now and the Ronson family is considering getting a restraining order against Lohan.) It’s common knowledge that Sam is the quiet and sensible one, while Lindsay the drama queen, always calling attention to herself. Just last week Sam was DJing at a party and Lindsay made a screaming scene because she saw Sam chatting with some girls. The fact is, Sam’s career depends on Lindsay’s scenes – corporate parties pay Sam $15,000 to $20,000 instead of the usual $5000 per gig because they want Lindsay there. Lindsay and her behavior usually get them a lot of publicity and the corporate name (T- Mobile, for example) gets free press. THAT’S why Sam put up with Lindsay for so long. Finally Sam declared “The bitch is crazy and I can’t deal with this any more!” She must have resigned herself to the pay cut.

Lindsay Lohan may be “out” with her relationship with Sam Ronson, but she’s still in the closet with her substance abuse. Sam was spinning for a lesbian party at the Roxy last Thursday and Lindsay was a huge hit with the gay girls. Many admirers wanted to send her drinks but she told them “I don’t drink, thank you.” At the same time she was sneakily drinking the vodka and red bulls that friends at her table ordered. Lindsay wouldn’t use the public bathroom so the Roxy allowed her to use a backstage band bathroom. A witness says she ran back and forth to her private bathroom all night – at least once every half hour. “It was obvious she wasn’t touching up her makeup.”
