SETH MACFARLANE: THE BIGGEST SCREEN IN HOLLYWOOD?

Huge flat screen TVs seem to be every man’s idea of heaven. According to Merle Ginsberg in The Hollywood Reporter, eligible bachelor Seth MacFarlane has an amazing home entertainment system. He has a $35,000 digital box (whatever THAT is) and uses the Prima Cinema service that allows him to pipe in opening weekend releases for $500 a film. What REALLY floored us is the fact that he is now installing Imax (costing a million dollars) at his Beverly Hills HOUSE! Wonder who’s watching those new movies with him – is it Charlize perhaps?

SETH MACFARLANE AND CHARLIZE THERON: WHAT’S SO FUNNY?

Seth MacFarlane just might be hopping on the Tom Cruise bandwagon by auditioning and hiring desirable actresses for his new movie – in hopes of scoring a new girlfriend! We wrote about their mutual attraction at the Oscars and now Seth has hired Charlize to star in his next comedy. In “A Million Ways To Die in the West.” Seth directs and plays a cowardly sheepherder and Charlize plays a notorious bandit’s exgirlfriend who teaches him about bravado and guns. They were photographed leaving Matsuhisa after dining together, both attempting to suppress their laughter.

It appears that Charlize Theron, 37, and Seth MacFarlane, 39, took a liking to each other while rehearsing for the Oscar show. He sang and she danced in the opening musical extravaganza. We’ve had several reports of them being engrossed in conversation with each other over the weekend and she was by his side at his post Oscar party. Both are single – Charlize split with Stuart Townsend last year after nine years together, and Seth dates, but considers himself a single guy. They look great together, and could become a real Hollywood power couple.

IT’S TIME TO UPDATE THE OSCARS

No wonder The Oscars are losing more of their audience every year. A huge percentage of the three and a half hour show was made up of technical awards in which groups of unfamiliar men in tuxedos got up and thanked everyone in Hollywood who might give them their next job. It’s exhausting, self indulgent, and downright BORING. In other words, NOT entertaining. That’s why viewers drift. Seth MacFarlane was fine (and a surprisingly good singer,) the musical numbers were nice, but the rest of the show needs a major overhaul.

Definitely one of the best catches in Hollywood these days is multi millionaire Seth MacFarlane, 38. He’s gotta be really amusing because he can do dozens of voices and he writes his animated series (Family Guy) and his recent hit movie Ted. He currently has a 100 million dollar deal with Fox. He’s been seeing Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, 25, from England for the past few months and they showed up at Emmy parties together. But it’s not always glitzy with Seth- he took Emilia to Mel’s Diner for lunch today.
