Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are leaving Paris here on a private jet for the next stop on their promotional tour for Transformer 2. Since Megan just admitted to a London paper that she is “single,” we wonder if she and Shia will return from this trip as more than “just friends.” (Remember that’s what happened when Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia went on a European PR tour for “Heroes.“)

One of these Transformers 2 stars has had a crush on the other since the first Transformers movie and it’s NOT necessarily Shia LaBeouf. In Fact Megan has been confiding to friends that she harbors powerful feelings for Shia but she didn’t realize it until they finished the first movie. At that time she was already living with Brian Austen Green and not sure whether Shia felt the same. After the movie wrapped, she couldn’t stop thinking about Shia and looked forward to working with him in T2. (She has called Shia “Smart and the best kisser – EVER.”) Megan broke her engagement to Brian but didn’t leave him altogether. She wants more than friendship from Shia, but he seems uncommitted. It’s incredible, but if Shia snapped the fingers on his good hand, we bet Megan would come running. Until then, they’re “just friends.”

Last Spring we told you that Megan Fox was aching to squirm out of her engagement to Brian Austin Green but she didn’t know how to do it without hurting his feelings. (She DOES care for him.) Brian is 13 years older and Megan didn’t feel ready for marriage. She also had eyes for her Transformers costar Shia LaBeouf at that time. Instead of confronting the issue., Megan procrastinated, and as time passed just allowed her relationship to disintegrate. Eventually she and Brian mutually decided to call it off. With no hurt feelings. (Whew! This inevitable bustup almost took as along as Justin Timberlake’s split with Cameron Diaz.)

It appears that Shia LaBeouf thinks the photogs won’t recognize him with a bag on his head. He lost his license after his accident so he can’t drive his well known car either. But he FORGOT that he is easily recognized because of the bandaged hand which he has wrapped in a plastic bag. That’s the dead give-away.

Shia LaBeouf and his mother Shayna were surprised when cameras caught them out and about in Burbank. Shia is very close to his mom, whom he describes as a “hippie” who became a clothing and jewelry designer. His dad Jeffrey was also a hippie who grew his own pot. Raised in Echo Park, Shia says he became an actor mostly because his family needed the money. Now, THERE’S an honest answer!

We’ve been watching the Adrian Grenier romance with Isabel Lucas unravel, practically since he picked her up at the airport when she arrived from Australia last month. She had a secret date – pizza and a movie – with her handsome exboyfriend Chris Hemsworth, behind Adrian’s back. And of course she was caught in Shia LaBeouf’s passenger seat when he crashed his truck. They were on their way to Shia’s house at 2:30 AM with a hot pizza. Need we say more? Adrian gave Isabel another “chance,” but she didn’t want it. She moved on.

Maybe those great hospital sources have dried up since the Farrah Fawcett UCLA Medical Center scandal. Last week Star announced their exclusive scoop that Shia LaBeouf was likely to have his pinky finger AMPUTATED because it was so damaged in his auto accident. Here’s a recent photo of Shia and his bandaged hand – we can’t resist pointing out that his pinky finger is clearly the only one NOT damaged.

Maybe the most interesting thing about Shia LaBeouf’s truck rolling over was what flew out the window. The street around his accident was strewn with his gym bag, hot pizza in a box, and several brand new toilet seats. Shia and his friends in Echo Park like to express their artistic side by decorating toilet seats. (It’s better than graffiti) They paint pictures and sometimes mottos like “Pooperazzi” or “High End For Your Rear End.” Shia and his buddies make extra money by selling their fancy toilet seats at local flea markets. He IS a character. We’ll be watching for him at the Rose Bowl.

INDIANA JONES IS OUT OF THE WOODS

What a relief! Indiana Jones was well received in Cannes and it got a standing ovation. Critics in the US had been badmouthing the movie, but it seems to have plenty of audience appeal. We’re just happy to see Karen Allen again. It’s been a long time. (We loved her in Star Man also.) Harrison and Karen’s familiar faces, along with Shia LaBeouf, are bound to make it a summer blockbuster.

There’s something not quite convincing about this photo of Shia Labeouf on the set of his new movie “New York, I Love You.” Now, don’t take this the wrong way, but he reminds us of a female to male sex change. Maybe it’s the haircut and the facial hair in combination with the unflattering clothes, but he resembles an attractive girl who wants to look like a guy. So THAT’S what Shia LaBeouf has been up to for the last few months! The Disturbia and Transformers star has developed into a very hot commodity in Hollywood and all the girls have been asking about his love life. He broke off a 3 year relationship last spring and claimed he was “too busy” for romance. Well, he wasn’t too busy when Rihanna,19, came along! Shia,21, has been filming Indiana Jones 4 and he and Rihanna are the talk of the set. Tuesday night when Buzzfoto spotted them on a two hour date (with strawberries for dessert) at Kate Mantilini, all was confirmed. Shia freaked and ran away, but Rihanna calmly posed for the photo above. They made a quick getaway in his new pickup truck.
