Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa have been married less than two months and already they look like it’s been YEARS. An eyewitness saw them shopping by themselves in Gelson’s in West Hollywood and they didn’t seem like they were having any fun at all. “They never smiled or laughed or touched each other. No affectionate gestures. They got out of a red Lexus with Texas plates and Kevin didn’t bother opening any doors. He walked five feet ahead of her and carried the bags. They just didn’t act like newlyweds.” Hopefully, it was just a bad day….

Joe Jonas, looking bookish and low-key, had lunch at the Figaro Cafe on Vermont in Silverlake, and afterward he and a friend went to Y-Que Trading Post, the famous t-shirt store down the street. Joe examined a “Frankie Say Relax” shirt , he looked at “I Hate The Environment” and “Free Roman Polanski” but what he ended up buying was a shirt that said “Never Forget PLUTO” featuring ink that glows in the dark. (Pluto, you will recall, has been downgraded from a planet to a number.)

Sylvester Stallone is shopping in Beverly Hills, trying on expensive watches. Sly has always sought the fountain of youth – he has tried many youth enhancing medical treatments, fads, and supplements and he looks good. Maybe he doesn’t realize that wearing a watch is ageing him. Young people don’t wear watches anymore – they check their cell phones. Eventually wristwatches will become a historical novelty.

Katy Perry, clad in a “be afraid” t-shirt, spent an afternoon shopping on La Brea in Hollywood without her fiancee Russell Brand. She browsed in American Rag and found a never been worn vintage shirt that’s perfect for Russell. After that she walked down the street and wandered through vintage furniture stores, contemplating what to buy for her new house.

Still living it up in the aftermath of Michael Jackson’s demise, La Toya Jackson went shopping in Warsaw, Poland, at the Promenada Mall. She tried on lots of sexy things at Eva Minge’s posh boutique. Designer Eva has been described as the “Polish Donatella Versace” (we’re not sure it that’s a compliment) – however Eva and LaToya both love the 80’s, and LaToya ended up ordering a white dress. If this were a year ago, there probably wouldn’t have been any paparazzi following her.

“Star Trek’s”Chris Pine is pictured her walking out of a store carrying a new pair of jeans. He’s not shoplifting. On Christmas eve, Chris spent an hour trying on a whole bunch of jeans at a men’s store on Melrose Avenue. He decided on one pair he liked and bought them, but he refused a bag (for environmental reasons?) and that’s how he left with his purchase.

SALE signs are going up early this year, and Rihanna braved the crowds to take advantage by shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. She browsed with her hood up, hoping not to be noticed. Paparazzi caught her on the first floor in the accessories department where she checked out the hats and gloves. She found more bargains upstairs in the designer collections.

Nick Cannon isn’t often let out of the house alone, so it figures that he’s using the time to shop for Christmas gifts for his wife Mariah Carey. He browsed around Louis Vuitton in Beverly Hills with a male friend but he was always on the phone to you-know-who. He was asking a lot of questions to make sure he selected all the RIGHT things.
