Due to Amanda’s voluntary and INvoluntary stays in psychiatric hospitals and her recent arrest in NYC, Lindsay fears Amanda is spiraling out of control and she wants to help. My source says that Lindsay privately reached out to Amanda and offered her help getting sober and getting her career back on track. Lindsay’s recent movie, Irish Wish was a huge hit for Netflix, so she’s offering to cast Amanda in one of her upcoming projects for the streaming giant.

MATTHEW PERRY NEEDS MORE THAN A MANICURE

Matthew Perry, 49, was walking around New York yesterday looking down on his luck. If we didn’t know how wealthy his is, we’d feel sorry for him. Actually, the Friends star has been having a rough time – last year he spent three months in a hospital recovering from a gastrointestinal perforation. He’s had drug and alcohol problems in the past, and Perry has made several hospital visits recently. He was reported to be in the company of a “sober coach.”

DEMI LOVATO AND HENRY LEVY: A MATCH MADE IN REHAB

Fashion designer Henry Levy has hit the jackpot with his new girlfriend Demi Lovato. Henry, who has been in rehab himself a number of times, started out as Demi’s “sober companion” and their friendship blossomed into romance. Henry’s luxury fashion brand is called Enfants Riches Deprimes, which translates to “Depressed Rich Kids.” His expensive punk-inspired unisex apparel is sold only at high-end stores like Maxfield. We cannot imagine Demi wearing his $300 torn t-shirts (Jared Leto does) – but it might happen. And just being seen with Demi has given his profile a boost. Everything’s good for both of them!

Alice Cooper Sober The Hollywood Vampires

ALICE COOPER TURNED OUT TO BE A DECENT HUSBAND

We have to give Alice Cooper’s wife Sheryl credit – she has put up with a lot during their 40 year marriage. Alice was a raging alcoholic until 1983 – he only got sober then because Sheryl threatened to divorce him. We remember when Alice used to shop in the rock n’roll clothing store we had on Sunset Strip in the 70’s. He’d pull up in a limo with an entourage – always carrying a beer in his hand. Alice was really friendly and likeable. We felt sorry for his long-suffering girlfriend, but he bought her some nice things. Alice met his wife when she danced in his Welcome to my Nightmare tour and they have one of the happier rock marriages – in spite of the fact that he never stops touring. For the past three years he’s been with The Hollywood Vampires featuring Johnny Depp and Joe Perry.
