An insider has leaked that Spencer is in talks with The Learning Annex to participate in a series of lectures where he’ll share his secrets about “how to become rich and famous.” If things work out, he’d eventually love to travel around the country and appear with other speakers at paid self improvement seminars. We’re flabbergasted.

STEPHANIE PRATT TO SPENCER PRATT AND MTV: MY DUI WAS A SET-UP!

Stephanie Pratt is seething in silence because she thinks her DUI arrest was a set-up masterminded by her brother Spencer Pratt and “The Hills” MTV producers. Here’s why: Ratings on the show have been dropping and producers and Spencer have been conspiring to create drama and get publicity for the stars. Sunday night they were filming for the show at Empire while Holly celebrated her birthday. The camera lingered on Stephanie drinking and they encouraged her to drink more. When it came time to leave, Stephanie hesitated because she IS careful about driving even if she drinks only a little, but Spencer and the producers assured her she was fine. A cop car was conveniently parked right out front and nabbed her before she drove 20 feet. She was only a fraction over the legal alcohol level. Stephanie spent a miserable night in jail. She believes that her “hitting rock bottom” with her drinking is just a plot created for benefit of the show. She’s privately FURIOUS but doesn’t know what to do.

The fact that publicity starved TV couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are endorsing the McCain- Palin ticket (and promoting themselves) is enough to provide Obama a landslide victory. THAT’S how much this pair seems to be disliked. Their fake photo sessions and fake smiles are not winning many fans. Some insiders are calling them has-beens. Note the six-pack, shotgun, and Palin T shirts, and try not to gag.

Why does Hollywood’s most overexposed couple look so GLUM in this photo? Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt did some actual shopping in Gelson’s in Pacific Palisades – without benefit of hair and makeup and stylists like their set-up photo ops. There was no cutesy pie smooching or whispering or giggling – they walked around the store like robots who barely knew each other. When they noticed a freelance paparazzi shooting them – and is WASN’T their personal photog- they were NOT happy. They had the manager help them out to their car and not-so-chivalrous Spencer let Heidi push the cart. They were both annoyed because they won’t get paid for THIS set of photos. That’s why we posted this!

On Sunday The Ivy was packed with celebrities yearning for publicity and attention. They all sat outside (at separate tables) as close to the paparazzi as possible and ironically they all walked out at once. Imagine the chaos as celebrities collided with valet parking attendants, pedestrians, fans and photographers in front of the restaurant! Camera loving Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Mel B and her questionable husband Stephen Belafonte, and the ubiquitous Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt all posed together as if they were old friends. Ozzy looks slimmer, and Heidi made sure her Chanel gloves and Hermes bag were prominently featured.

These incredibly corny photo set-ups that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag arrange, continue to be a significant source of income. SOMEBODY is actually buying them! On Valentines day they “shared” their tender moments when Spencer gave Heidi a pair of platform shoes as a gift (?) and they smooched on a yacht. Seriously, these arranged photo-ops pull in an average of $10,000 a week for the couple to split! (Spencer used to take ALL the money until Heidi found out they were getting paid.) Nauseating, isn’t it?

Trouble in paradise for The Hills’ Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. She just found out that her boyfriend Spencer ’s been pocketing a lot of money – at HER expense. Heidi has been aware that for the last six months Spencer’s been tipping off paparazzi when they’re going someplace special. She figured it was good PR for their TV show. But recently she inadvertently learned that Spencer has been splitting the profits with the photographers. When the exclusive pictures sell, HE gets half the money. He’s probably made close to $100,000 from one Hollywood photo agency and he never gave Heidi a dime! She’s NOT happy.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt bear an unsettling resemblance to Barbie and Ken dolls. His single episode guest appearance on Heidi’s reality show “The Hills” made such an impression that they are now engaged. He’s 23 and she’s 20. Spencer LOOKS like an actor, but calls himself a producer, even though the only thing we can find that he produced was “The Princes of Malibu” that Fox cancelled after two episodes.
