PROOF THAT TYRA BANKS CAN MAKE FASHION MISTAKES

It’s a comeback – Tyra Banks is in New York happily promoting her Sports Illustrated 2019 swimsuit cover – she last appeared on the magazine cover in the late 90’s. Tyra retired from modeling in 2005 to become a TV mogul, hosting the incredibly popular America’s Next Top Model, now in its 18th season. Today she made TV appearances with her magazine wearing THIS. We love the color, but that stiff ridged neckline and puffy top is making her look several sizes larger than she hopefully is. Even models need advice sometimes.

Along with Kanye, Kim already aspires to become a top celebrity power couple like Beyonce and Jay-Z. But Kim and Kanye’s ridiculously expensive over the top wedding plans are already turning people off (like jay-Z and Beyonce) and only the most desperate celebrities are expected to show up. If anybody needs a bodyguard and a police escort these days, it’s Kate Upton. The 20 year old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is in New York promoting her much anticipated cover, and she doesn’t need to carry around a copy of the magazine because everyone seems to know who she is. We’ve been told she’s even better looking in person than she is in photographs. Kate’s modeling career is going great guns and besides that, she can dance.

CAN MODEL SELITA EBANKS RESIST KANYE WEST’S CHARM?

Since he split with Amber Rose a few months ago, Kanye West has been spotted a number of times in the company of Victoria’s Secret/Sports Illustrated model Selita Ebanks, 27. Selita was engaged to Nick Cannon in 2007 (obviously THAT didn’t work out) and recently she was dating Maxwell. Kanye hand picked her to appear in his “Runaway “ video and we all know that’s how singers hook up with models. Selina insists they’re just friends, but they’ve been seen out several times – including, above, at the Grazia Masquerade Ball in Paris. What are they doing in Paris together if they’re just “friends?” (Note they BOTH assume model poses when they see the cameras coming)

While Robin Wright Penn was being honored at the Deauville Film Festival for her new drama “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” (about a woman with a cheating husband) her estranged husband Sean Penn was angrily avoiding photographers in New York. He and his dinner date, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White, ran in separate directions when they saw paparazzi outside the restaurant.

Here’s proof that gold medalist Michael Phelps didn’t HAVE to look dreadful on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The magazine obviously devoted it’s photo budget to their Swimsuit models and ignored the Olympic hero’s cover. Some misguided people thought Michael was not capable of taking a good picture. Yet here he is walking through the Washington DC airport here looking undeniably HOT.

Michael Phelps is everybody’s hero, but are we the only ones who admit that we think he looks like a supergeek on this Sports Illustrated cover? How could they do this to him? This photo will follow him for the rest of his life. To put it politely, it minimizes his attributes. The magazine bends over backwards to make sure their swimsuit models look good. They couldn’t give our Olympic paragon a break? We could take a better photo in our backyard.
