IS THAT MILA KUNIS IN TARGET’S HOUSEWARES DEPARTMENT?

If you live in Los Angeles don’t be surprised if you run into Mila Kunis at your local Target. From West Hollywood to Westlake Village, Mila has been spotted at various Targets, but it’s not just bargains she’s after. Mila is teaming up with the popular retailer with an upcoming collaboration of various products including housewares, beauty products and clothing. My insider reveals the deal has been in the works for awhile, but was temporarily paused after Mila caught flak for writing a letter on behalf of convicted rapist Danny Masterson a few months ago. Now that the dust has settled, the collaboration is back on, and Mila’s visiting Targets for research.

HARRY STYLES LIKES TARGET TOO!

Harry Styles is no stranger to fashion – his recent capsule collection collaboration with Gucci was a huge hit. Now he’s planning to launch something more accessible to his fans. Harry has done pop-up stores in the past and while they were successful, they didn’t reach the masses since the majority of his fans never had the chance to shop. He’s been working on a line of unisex clothing and accessories and Target is front runner for the collaboration. The only sticking point is that while Harry likes the idea that there are so many Targets across the US, he also wants to reach his global fans. So he’s hoping to work out a deal where Target sells the collection in America and other retailers handle the rest of the world.

NO ONE IN TARGET IS LOOKING AT ANGELINA JOLIE

Angelina Jolie is obviously enjoying the anonymity her mask provides, so she didn’t hesitate to take Zahara shopping at Target yesterday (yes, a Saturday!) She usually has a bodyguard keeping a discreet distance somewhere in the background “just in case,” but he doesn’t appear until there are packages to carry. In this situation, the paparazzo stayed out of sight so he wouldn’t reveal his target, and almost no one was aware that THE Angelina Jolie was in their midst. In fact no one was even looking at her. Nice for a change.

KIRSTIE ALLEY DRIVES A HARD BARGAIN AT TARGET

AG021951_01kirstcut

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Kirstie Alley, but she turned up at Target, looking for sale merchandise like many other shoppers. Kirstie found a sales person and asked to see a particular table that was advertised on sale. The clerk informed her that the item was sold out but it could be ordered and sent to her. Kirstie was NOT happy. “But I want it TODAY!” she declared. The salesperson apologized and pointed out a nicer and costlier table that was available. Kirstie demanded to see the manager and pressured the manager to give her the expensive table for the price of the sale table! The manager refused despite Kirstie’s relentless pleas. She left scowling and we can’t help but wonder why Kirstie Alley is buying furniture at Target in the first place!

JESSICA SIMPSON PUT HER FIANCEE ERIC JOHNSON TO WORK BUILDING A CRIB

She’s on track to sell a billion dollars worth of merchandise this year, but unlike most celebrities, expectant Jessica Simpson is doing her nursery on a budget. Jessica, currently appearing on “Fashion Star,” bought a crib she fell in love with at Target for $199 and when she brought it home, her fiance Eric Johnson had to put it together for her.

MADONNA TRUMPS THE KARDASHIANS IN RETAIL SALES

Desperate retailers have been snapping up young celebrities to develop exclusive apparel lines for their chain stores and some have been faring far better than others. Right now the Kardashians and Selena Gomez are at the bottom of the heap because their collections are featured in Sears and Kmart stores which are going out of business left and right. Demi Lovato and Gwen Stefani are doing well with their lines at Target, but the biggest winner of all: Madonna and her daughter Lourdes’s Material Girl collection at Macy’s. Their clothing line has had an excellent year and Macy’s stock is up 27.2%.

SHARON STONE DOESN’T MIND BEING RECOGNIZED AT TARGET

Yes, that’s a movie star in a full length leopard print coat shopping at Target. No sunglasses and baseball cap (like Chelsea Handler) in the hope of not being noticed. Sharon Stone has three little boys at home so it makes sense to stock up on Christmas stuff and toys at the discount store.

DON’T BOTHER CHELSEA HANDLER WHEN SHE’S SHOPPING AT TARGET

No sooner had we heard that Chelsea Handler invested six million dollars in a new Bel Air estate, than she was spotted shopping for items for her new home. Chelsea’s new and gorgeous 5800 sq ft mansion has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms and a 50 foot pool with an outdoor fireplace. (Can’t you picture Chelsea and 50 Cent lounging at the pool?) We’re particularly impressed by the closet with a view. Obviously the talk show queen is doing well, but she’s still thrifty. She was seen yesterday clad in white cowboy boots pushing a shopping cart full of paper products, candles, and trinkets at Target. When fans greeted her she gave them a fast nod and quickly went about her business.

SHANNON ELIZABETH AND DEREK HOUGH ARE STILL IN STEP

Who would have guessed that “Dancing With The Stars” partners Shannon Elizabeth,35, and Derek Hough, 24, would still be together a year later? Certainly not In Touch magazine, which claimed the couple admitted their romance was faked to earn audience votes. In fact, Derek moved in with Shannon while they were competing and never left. Above, the playful pair shopped for household items in Target where they bought towels, closet fixtures and a welcome mat.

PAULA ABDUL'S TARGET MELTDOWN

Paula Abdul that happened a couple of months ago but it’s still relevant. According to a witness. Paula was wearing a baseball cap and bouncing happily up and down the aisles at the Target store in Palm Springs. Suddenly she stopped dead, pulled out her cell phone, started shaking and crying, and dropped the phone. A concerned salesclerk watching her meltdown offered to help and took her to the manager’s office so she could sit down. Paula was sobbing and asked them to call her friend who was outside “in the car.” The friend came in and assured Paula “everything is going to be OK” and calmed her down. She had a glass of water and after fifteen minutes Paula started apologizing profusely for the “inconvenience ” and said she felt “foolish.” She waved goodbye and left the staffers wondering if she had an anxiety attack or WHAT.
