MISCHA BARTON DIDN’T SUSPECT HER DAYS WERE NUMBERED

Little did Mischa Barton suspect, as she walked to the set of her series “The Beautiful Life” to get her hair and makeup done, that this would be one of the last times she’d be reporting for work. After the show drew a dismal audience of a million viewers on Wednesday, the CW decided to cut their losses and cancelled the show. (We found it corny and so predictable is was embarrassing.) So far there are no plans to air remaining completed episodes. Too bad- we have a feeling Mischa really needed this job.

LINDSAY LOHAN IS MORE THAN WILLING TO STEP INTO MISCHA BARTON’S SHOES

Mischa Barton might be surprised to hear what her so-called friend Lindsay Lohan has been up to behind her back. Mischa’s recent hospitalization had her role on CW’s new show The Beautiful Life in jeopardy. Lindsay supposedly was very supportive of Mischa’s recovery, but at the same time she was jockeying to replace Mischa on the series! Lindsay didn’t try to sabotage Mischa’s job, but she DID let producers know she was very interested in the role if they recast it. So Far, Mischa seems to be doing fine.
