An insider has leaked that Spencer is in talks with The Learning Annex to participate in a series of lectures where he’ll share his secrets about “how to become rich and famous.” If things work out, he’d eventually love to travel around the country and appear with other speakers at paid self improvement seminars. We’re flabbergasted.

Stephanie Pratt is seething in silence because she thinks her DUI arrest was a set-up masterminded by her brother Spencer Pratt and “The Hills” MTV producers. Here’s why: Ratings on the show have been dropping and producers and Spencer have been conspiring to create drama and get publicity for the stars. Sunday night they were filming for the show at Empire while Holly celebrated her birthday. The camera lingered on Stephanie drinking and they encouraged her to drink more. When it came time to leave, Stephanie hesitated because she IS careful about driving even if she drinks only a little, but Spencer and the producers assured her she was fine. A cop car was conveniently parked right out front and nabbed her before she drove 20 feet. She was only a fraction over the legal alcohol level. Stephanie spent a miserable night in jail. She believes that her “hitting rock bottom” with her drinking is just a plot created for benefit of the show. She’s privately FURIOUS but doesn’t know what to do.

KRISTIN CAVALLARI DOESN’T LIKE FAKING IT FOR “THE HILLS”

Kristin Cavallari is in hot water with MTV, and the ink is barely dry on her $100,000 per show contract for “The Hills.” Kristin replaced Lauren Conrad and now narrates the series. MTV wants the show to be perceived as REAL and unscripted so they insist that Kristin NOT date anyone openly except her love interest on the show, Justin Bobby, or whoever. But Kristin is stubborn and she has been dating the former editor of 944 magazine, Sonny Smith, for about six months. She was spending time with him in Las Vegas, somewhat undercover, but couldn’t resist going out in LA and was photographed leaving Philippe restaurant. MTV execs are NOT happy and they gave her a warning. Is this guy worth jeopardizing her job?

Las Vegas based model Michael Evers is already a mini-celebrity in Sin City – he’s appeared on billboards promoting Planet Hollywood’s Krave nightclub where he’s a featured performer. Now he’s been cast in a reality show that’s being described as “The Hills” meets Las Vegas. It’s Called “The Strip” and will follow a group of eight hot looking 18 to 25 year olds (including a Hard Rock cocktail waitress and a valet from the Bellagio) as they struggle and seek success in the gambling mecca. Making it in Las Vegas is not as easy as it used to be.

Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad, and Audrina Patridge celebrated the finale of “The Hills” at a viewing party at Tavern on the Green. Whitney’s spin-off show “The City” features her working in the fashion business at Diane Von Furstenberg. MTV decided the staffers at Diane were “lacking in personality” so they hired an actress to do the business scenes with Whitney. The real employees were somewhat insulted.

Earth to Audrina! She looks mighty happy with her arms draped around that cheating biker exboyfriend of hers, Justin “Bobby” Brescia. They were snapped last night leaving Dolce’s five year anniversary party together. Last year Audrina dumped him when she got fed up with his antics. Audrina’s friends from “The Hills” said that Justin ignored her when they went out, didn’t ask her out on dates, and didn’t return her calls. Brandon Davis finally scored some legitimate income. He calls himself an art broker – and apparently he really is one, because he brokered a $400,000 deal for two Warhols. (Marilyn and Flowers seen above) The buyer was Brandon’s friend Jared Najjar, who is Brody Jenner’s superwealthy buddy on The Hills. Girls should note that Jared is the true “catch” among all the losers on that show. He comes from a family of real estate billionaires and we hear he’s mannerly and well brought up. Plus he’s 24 and has a Black AX card.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt bear an unsettling resemblance to Barbie and Ken dolls. His single episode guest appearance on Heidi’s reality show “The Hills” made such an impression that they are now engaged. He’s 23 and she’s 20. Spencer LOOKS like an actor, but calls himself a producer, even though the only thing we can find that he produced was “The Princes of Malibu” that Fox cancelled after two episodes.
