JENNIFER LAWRENCE MIGHT BE THE LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE

It was pointed out that Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence has grown up and become too sophisticated to be believable as Katniss in the latest Hunger Games movie, but it’s topped the boxoffice for two weeks so far. She’s 25 now and Forbes says she’s the highest paid actress in the world. We were surpised by this recent photo – she looks like an established Movie Star, not the occasionally awkward girl she used to be.

THE HUNGER GAMES DON’T STOP JUST BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT DOES

Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth look really cute together, filming a scene for the third installment in The Hunger Games trilogy called Mockingjay. They’re filming outside Atlanta in a state park and they got lucky – it will not be closed down like the national parks. The show must go on.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE IS BACK AND SHE’S ON FIRE!

There are FAR too many male heroes in movies (because there are too many male writers and producers) so we love the Hunger Games trilogy, and especially Jennifer Lawrence’s character Katniss. The second episode “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” looks like it will be just as futuristic and adventurous as the first. And no vampires!

“THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE” PARTY RAINED OUT IN CANNES

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” cast appeared in Cannes to accelerate anticipation of their movie, but it’s not being screened yet. Producers threw a lavish Hunger Games beach party that got rained out – the first five days of the festival have been soaking wet. Undaunted by the downpour, Jennifer Lawrence looks prettier than ever – she’s pictured with her costars Sam Claflin and Liam Hemsworth (who was at Cannes partying without fiancé Miley Cyrus)

This is a life-changing weekend for Jennifer Lawrence, 21, star of “The Hunger Games,“ which opens midnight Thursday. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie has already sold 15 million dollars worth of advance tickets and it might end up with one of the biggest debuts of all time – possible 130 to 140 million for the weekend! Jennifer Lawrence is hardly a household name – even though she was nominated for an Oscar for “Winter’s Bone” – because so few people saw the movie. After this weekend she’ll find out what it feels like to be “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart. No more alone time! Fans will be everywhere! Bodyguards are in her future… (Above, she promoted the movie on Letterman)

MEG RYAN AND DENNIS QUAID’S SON JACK GOT A ROLE IN “THE HUNGER GAMES”

Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid’s 19 year old son son Jack is serious about following in the family business of acting, and he’s landed a role in the much touted upcoming film “The Hunger Games.” (The movie is based on a trilogy of teen books comparable to the Twilight series and is expected to be a huge hit.) Jack (third from left above – he’s got his mother’s smile!) plays Marvel, a nasty character, and he was warned that viewers will dislike him. Jack Quaid is currently a sophomore at NYU, studying theater, of course.
