Marisa Tomei has a lot to be happy about- she ‘s finished several movies since “The Wrestler” and her relationship with actor Logan Marshall Green is still going strong. Logan got a steady job – he’s costarring on the Jerry Bruckheimer series “Dark Blue” with Dylan McDermott. The contented couple bicycled to the set of “Letters to Juliet” in New York. We wish more movies were being made in Los Angeles.

We told you Mickey Rourke was getting lucky with women again since The Wrestler was released and he took home all those awards. Now he says he’s got a girlfriend. All we know is that her name is Kiera, she’s cute, and she doesn’t mind kissing a guy who smokes.

Marisa Tomei, 44, has nothing to complain about. Not only is she nominated for an Oscar for “The Wrestler,” (Don’t you think it’s time you SAW this movie?) but she has a hot boyfriend to keep her warm in Utah. She’s handholding with hunky actor Logan Marshall-Green, 32, who happens to have a Masters degree in fine arts. He was on “The O.C.” but we don’t remember him. The couple met last June when they did a play in New York together.

Marisa Tomei has a great vintage 50’s look for the inauguration celebration. Her costar in “The Wrestler” Mickey Rourke, has been praising his other costar Evan Rachel Wood to the skies (she played his daughter,) but he doesn’t talk a lot about Marisa, who was also excellent in the film. We wonder what went on between them.

Best Actor Mickey Rourke really won us over at the Golden Globes when he thanked his dogs in his acceptance speech. He commented that “they were with him when no one else was” and made a sentimental reference to his present and past dogs. He looked like he had a tear in his eye and we suddenly wondered if his constant companion – his beloved 16 year old chihuahua Loki, was no longer alive. To our immense relief, we were told that Loki is doing fine. And SO is Mickey.

“The Wrestler” has really paid off for Mickey Rourke. Not only is he respected in Hollywood again, but girls are getting interested in him. He had a long dry spell when he ran out of money and acting jobs. This comeback put him back on the map socially ,and he has a hot young blond girlfriend in Miami to prove it. And he didn’t even have to wash his hair.

THE WRESTLER IS MICKEY ROURKE'S BIG COMEBACK

Mickey Rourke made a personal appearance after a screening of The Wrestler for SAG members in West Hollywood Saturday night. The movie, directed by Darran Aronofsky, was grueling and violent but brilliant. One of the most fascinating aspects of the film was the backstage camaraderie between the wrestlers. Onstage after the movie, Mickey revealed that he gained 30 pounds of muscle for the part (and he looks a lot better now without that weight.) Clad in sharkskin pants and jacket, Mickey captivated the audience with stories about making the movie such as the time Darren the director reminded Mickey about his sick dog Loki to make him more emotional in a sensitive scene. Fortunately,16 year old Loki recovered, and was in the audience.

Mickey Rourke is shopping in Rome, looking TONS better than the last time we saw him. (He bought some Italian shoes.) Maybe he had a makeover because his movie “The Wrestler” is getting him so much favorable attention. He’s in town for the Rome Film Festival and his constant companion is Loki, his tiny pup.

Life IS full of surprises. Just when everyone was writing off Mickey Rourke as an over the hill has-been, he pulled off an acting triumph! Mickey’s film “The Wrestler” was voted BEST MOVIE at the Venice Film Festival and he will certainly be an Oscar contender! In the movie, Mickey plays a heartbreaking character – an ageing wrestler who is in despair as his body fails him and friends desert him. It just goes to show that looks aren’t EVERYTHING in Hollywood – at least when it comes to men.

Uh-oh! Looks like someone besides Sylvester Stallone has been gobbling Human Growth Hormones – or SOME kind of questionable supplements. Mickey Rourke, 51, plays a flamboyant aging wrestler in his new movie called “The Wrestler.” His blonde character, called Randy “The Ram” Robinson, is loosely based on Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin. Ironically the role was originally intended for Nicolas Cage.
