DON’T CHA WISH YOUR GIRLFRIEND WAS HOT LIKE NICOLE SCHERZINGER?

Why isn’t Nicole Scherzinger, 39, a big star? Not only is Nicole drop dead beautiful, but she can sing AND dance better than almost anybody else. Back when she was a Pussycat Doll, Nicole had a #1 hit “Don’t Cha” that put the girl group on the map. After the Dolls broke up, she was expected to become a Beyonce-like star on her own. But it didn’t happen. She easily won on the tenth season of Dancing With The Stars, but ended up moving to the UK because her music had more success there. Why she’s not appearing in a big Broadway musical or movie is a mystery to us. We DO wish she would ignore the dreadful “Kardashian Influence” and stop wearing SO much makeup – she’s a natural beauty.

Melanie Amaro Money Simon Cowell The X Factor Winner

TIME FOR SIMON COWELL TO PUT HIS MONEY WHERE HIS MOUTH IS

The X-Factor’s first winner Melanie Amaro has yet to reap the benefits of her triumph and remains in musical limbo. Even SHE is not sure whether or not her record label (Epic) has dropped her, but she IS certain that she has no album released. Before she won the talent contest. Simon Cowell bragged that the winner would receive FIVE million dollars plus a recording contract – at that time the biggest prize in TV history. The cash prize was to be paid over five years. AFTER Melanie won, somehow the wording was changed to “a five million dollar recording contract.” Melanie’s singles haven’t scored and her album release date has been pushed back numerous times. We’re betting she’d could use the money!

LOW RATINGS ON X FACTOR WIPED THE SMIRK OFF SIMON COWELL’S FACE

The always confident Simon Cowell, who can do no wrong, may have gotten a glimpse of the future and he doesn’t like it. We’ve had Britney Spears and Demi Lovato jammed down our throats for months in a huge publicity buildup for this season’s The X-Factor and we’re already overdosed on them. The show premiered this season to ratings a third LOWER than last year’s premier and the second show was even WORSE. Boo hoo. Maybe, just maybe, the public has had enough of overpaid, overhyped judges and mediocre talent. Prime time TV seems to have devolved into one gigantic continuous amateur hour. The novelty has worn off.

HERE COMES THE JUDGE: THE UNPREDICTABLE BRITNEY SPEARS

Britney Spears is sitting on a ten million dollar offer from Simon Cowell to join The X-Factor as a judge, and it looks like she will accept the deal, according to Deadline.com. Her fiancee Jason Trawick has been negotiating the contract for her. When Nicole Scherzinger left her judge’s seat, she remarked that she didn’t realize what an emotional roller-coaster the job would be. How Britney will react to the drama will certainly be interesting – we think she’s being paid all that money because she will provide “the ditz factor.” No one can predict what she will say or do, and THAT might pull in the big audience Simon craves.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON FOR “THE NEW GIRL” ZOOEY DESCHANEL

In spite of the fact that her show “The New Girl” won’t be airing again until November, Zooey Deschanel is hard at work on the set, except when she’s taking a snack break, above. The X-Factor will have extended two hour episodes (?) and that’s why Zooey’s hit show has been pushed to next month. Hopefully, her fans will remember her and tune in again.

American Idol Paula Abdul Star Search The X Factor

NOT WORKING AGREES WITH PAULA ABDUL

Paula Abdul is still out of a job and she has never looked better! Since she left American Idol last summer, she has been linked to a number of possible shows. Dancing with the Stars was a possibility, The X-Factor seemed very probable, now she’s in talks to appear on an updated version of the old Star Search. It seems like she’s very much in demand but in no hurry to commit.
