TOM FORD: “SLEEPING WITH MEN DOESN’T MAKE YOU GAY!”

When Tom Ford (who happens to hate women) was discussing his new collection in New York, he made a few comments that startled and riled up some of his fans – especially the gay ones. Tom hates the word “masculine” and he likes the fact that “fashion and sexuality have become more fluid.” Tom says “The new generation is great – guys paint their nails – no big deal. You’re a man sleeping with a man? So what – that doesn’t make you GAY!” The internet lit up with comments from outraged men. One wrote “As a gay man, that’s the dumbest thing I ever heard.” Another wisecracked “No, it doesn’t MAKE you gay, but it’s likely a good indication that you already ARE!” And that’s just the beginning…

THE JOHNSONS: IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR

It’s nice when family members share the same interests, and EJ Johnson, his mom Cookie, and his sister Elisa all love fashion. You might remember EJ’s cute 22 year old sister, from her appearances on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills. The Johnsons are dressed to kill here and excitedly on their way to Tom Ford’s runway show at New York Fashion Week. Apparently dad Magic is the only Johnson NOT interested in fashion.

MELANIA TRUMP: NO ONE WANTS TO DRESS HER?

We can’t help but wonder if those designers who haughtily announced they are NOT interested in dressing First Lady Melania Trump, are having second thoughts. Tom Ford led the pack and was followed by the likes of Zac Posen, Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs etc. Should they punish Melania for her husband’s politics? She is probably the most photogenic First Lady in the world and will be constantly under scrutiny. Will these hard-nose designers soften up or are they afraid to appear to be Trump supporters? An interesting dilemma.

TOM FORD HATES WOMEN

The immaculately attired designer is beloved by many female fans, but Tom Ford’s new film Nocturnal Animals is dead proof that he privately despises women. Tom has no problem being accused of OBJECTIFYING women (remember he posed fully dressed on the cover of Vanity Fair with two naked actresses half his age.) But after seeing his film, we insist that “objectify” is not a strong enough word – he HATES women! It’s sometimes a decent movie, BUT it opens with two mature, morbidly OBESE stark naked women in garish makeup DANCING and rolling on the ground flapping their rolls of fat in all directions. No men, just women. That sets the inexplicable mood and theme of the movie: Tom theorizes that -like it or not – all women eventually turn into their mothers and hurt the sensitive men around them! Tom is fond of bragging that he can identify with women because he’s gay, but he couldn’t be more off-base. His contempt for women burns up the screen in this movie and it’s a shame he’s so oblivious because he is a talented filmmaker.

TOM FORD AIMS AT WOMEN OF ALL AGES – WITH PLENTY OF MONEY

Tom Ford was very secretive about introducing his new line of clothing for women. He had a slew of famous females modeling in his show but he didn’t invite the press! Only the UK Harper’s Bazaar was permitted to use photos. Ford wants to appeal to women of all ages so he had everyone from Beyonce ,29, in fishnet boots to Lauren Hutton (now an unbelievable 67) in a snazzy white suit. Since the price range is $3000 to $30,000, the buyers may be all ages, but they will have one thing in common – lots of money.

TOM FORD IS MAKING DANIEL CRAIG LOOK BETTER DRESSED THAN NOT

Daniel Craig admits he has become addicted to Tom Ford’s suits. Ford custom designed Craig’s wardrobe for “Quantum of Solace,” replacing Brioni, the company that previously dressed 007. (Of course, Daniel gets to keep all the suits after the movie wraps.) Each Ford suit can run around $7,500 each and Daniel has already ruined 40 of them in active scenes. Craig HATES to destroy the exquisite suits and says “It’s a crime.” Obviously, with a staggering 230 million dollar budget, producers can afford the loss. Daniel likes his Ford designs so much that he nixed numerous wardrobe choices and insisted on wearing his own Ford suit for a GQ photo shoot.

TOM FORD AND ANDERSON COOPER: SECOND TIME AROUND

tomandersoncutThere’s still a chance that Anderson Cooper will have a scent of his own. We recently revealed that Tom Ford asked Anderson to become the spokesperson for a new cologne he’s creating that he wanted to name after Cooper, but Anderson turned him down. Anderson told his fashion maven mom Gloria Vanderbilt about the offer and she LIKED the idea and pushed her son to give it some more thought. That’s exactly what Anderson is doing, and if Tom Ford gets his way, “Coop” could be out by the holiday season.

ANDERSON COOPER SAYS NO, NO, NO, TO TOM FORD

tomandersoncutAnderson Cooper and Tom ford have been seen having lunch in Manhattan and they got New Yorkers buzzing overtime about WHAT they might be talking about. Actually Tom ford was offering Anderson a job as spokesman for his new cologne line coming out later this summer. Cooper was impressed with the scent and flattered to be considered for such a gig, but explained he already had plans for the summer. He’s made promises to people that he’ll return to Iraq, the Sudan, and Indonesia, and has no time for jobs on the side. Ford immediately sweetened the deal by offering to send Cooper’s salary to charities in Africa. Cooper thought about it, but ended up saying no to Tom Ford. And THAT doesn’t happen often.
