Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice 2010 just commenced filming in New York and just about all the new contestants were seen filming the opening promo. Here’s the new line-up from left to right: actress Holly Robinson Peete, singer Cyndi Lauper, disgraced Chicago politician Rod Blagovich, Australian chef Curtis Stone, (why not Gordon Ramsey?) wrestler Goldberg, Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders, comic actor Sinbad, comedian Carol Leifer, Ozzy’s wife Sharon Osbourne, controversial ballplayer Darryl Strawberry, “Rock of Love” musician Bret Michaels, and another wrestler, Maria Kanellis. Note that they’re all trying to look competent and powerful. The show will air in March.

ELLE MACPHERSON HAS ANOTHER MODEL IN THE FAMILY

It’s supermodel Elle Macpherson and her little boy Aurelius, 6, (that’s SOME name to live up to) and her labradoodle Bella. Two of the three are successful models. Elle is a given, but the other up and coming model is not her cute son – it’s Bella. The fuzzy pooch has a five figure modeling contract to star in a national ad campaign for Dogside.com.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen “Beauty and the Beast” series star Linda Hamilton and we didn’t recognize her at first. Linda, 52, was snapped selling autographed photos at the Fan Expo on Toronto. Celebrities can make thousands of dollars a day in cash doing that, although The Terminator star probably doesn’t need the money. She married well. When she divorced “Titanic” director James Cameron in 1999, she supposedly got a fifty million dollar settlement.

LET’S NOT OVERLOOK CONRAD MURRAY’S CRIME AGAINST PRINCE MICHAEL

Conrad Murray is a poor excuse for a doctor in many ways. After all that education, he gave up his practice and sold himself to Michael Jackson as a drug supplier for $150,000 a month. He committed one unethical act after another because this job was “ a great opportunity.” Drugs and neglect may have killed Michael, but Murray did more than that. When he discovered that Michael had overdosed, this slimey doctor summoned Michael’s twelve year old son Prince Michael to witness the event and forced him to perform CPR on his deceased father. Why? There were other adults in the house but Murray chose to expose the terrified boy to this tragic situation. He pushed the crying boy to attempt to revive the lifeless body of the only father he ever knew. This was his last nightmarish memory of Michael. Apparently Murray hoped to use Prince as a sympathetic witness. How cruel and selfish can you get? Hopefully, Murray’s greed will get him what he deserves.

She’s usually dressed to kill – we especially loved her looks in “The Fifth Element.” Milla has spent the summer at a Michigan prison filming “Stone” – a thriller with Edward Norton and Robert Deniro. Norton plays a sneaky inmate who arranges to have his sexy wife start a flirtation with the prison warden played by Deniro.

Producer Ashton Kutcher must have been relieved when Mischa Barton reported for work this week on his CW show “This Beautiful Life” in New York. Mischa stars in the series which features a group of young models living together in New York. It was touch and go for awhile when Mischa was hospitalized under psychiatric observation. Her friends wondered is Mischa could pull herself together fast enough for this work opportunity, but apparently she did. She was photographed smoking a cigarette in Soho and looks much improved.

You can’t help but recognize Jack Nicholson in his sunglasses puffing on a cigarette in front of a restaurant in the South of France. But who is his companion? It’s former Rolling Stone, Bill Wyman, who has a home in the area. Since he left the Stones, Wyman hasn’t retired – he performs with his band Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings. We don’t think he’s aged as gracefully- or stylishly – as the other Stones.

Jennifer Lopez did a darn good job of NOT looking traumatized by the arrival of her 40th birthday. Having multiple parties helped her get through the difficult week. (Her best outfit is featured above.) Her first one was on the set of her movie “The Back-Up Plan.” Her husband Marc Anthony arranged two other parties and the celebration at New York’s Hotel Griffou was noteworthy because the guests all had to hand over their cell phones and cameras at the door. (Celebrities DON’T like to be told what to do.) Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, and many others all fussed, but eventually complied. They WEREN’T happy. Sounds like some magazine bought exclusive rights. SOMEBODY with a camera was peeking in the window of the fabulous Golyester vintage clothing store on La Brea and they caught Dita Von Teese shopping. It’s nice to see a celebrity who enjoys shopping and doesn’t only wear freebies. She took her time picking out summery sundresses, flouncy skirts, jewelry. and hats. Dita walked out with several shopping bags and loaded them into her BMW convertible.

Every day Trace Cyrus reminds us more and more of Joey Ramone. Which is not a bad thing for his career, since it sets him far apart from his famous relatives Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus. His band Metro Station is a MySpace sensation and touring and making money. We were a little surprised by his flirtation with 16 year old Disney girl Demi Lovato, and even MORE surprised to hear that he’s collaborating on a song with Miley. So much for street cred. But he seems like the coolest one in the family.

MADONNA RETAINS A SUBTLE SUBVERSIVE EDGE

We were curious about the t-shirt Madonna is wearing in this photo. It looks like a teddy bear with either a weapon or a guitar. We did some research and learned that it’s a hot new line of shirts featuring a cuddly teddy bear named Mime with a subversive edge and a penchant for automatic weapons and other aggressive things. (They’re designed by Steven Trussell who used to have that provocative LA shop called Naked.) Mime shirts are sold at Metropark stores everywhere.

Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica were strolling in Tribeca when they turned a corner and ran smack into the location set of Jennifer Lopez’s movie “The Back-up Plan.” Jerry has plans of his own – he’s in the process of returning to NBC as a producer on the reality show “The Marriage Ref” which is currently casting across America for couples who have complaints about each other. Various celebrities and comics will comment on their disputes and judge who’s right. Jerry was the expert on singles living in New York on “Seinfeld,” and now that he’s married he has new interests.

Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown and her husband Stephen “Belafonte” went to The Rainbow on Sunset and ordered some dinners to go downstairs. While they were waiting, Stephen headed toward the mens room, but ran up to the upstairs bar and hit on 3 blonde women, one at a time. He was heard telling one that he was “Harry Belafonte’s nephew” and he’d like to call her sometime. He sweet talked, offered to buy them drinks and got 3 phone numbers. “Lets get together sometime.” One girl mentioned his wife and he shrugged “We have an understanding.” He left pocketing the numbers, and dashed downstairs as Melanie was paying for the food. Whether he was cheating on his wife – or lining up three-ways for her, depends on your imagination.
