DAN LEVY: FROM SCHITT’S CREEK TO ROME, ITALY

Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy admits he’s a lifelong fan of fashion, so it’s no surprise he turned up at the Valentino fashion show in Rome wearing a Valentino suit. Not sure who his companion is, but he seems to be having a good time. Anne Hathaway looks like another Barbie wannabe in her hot pink ensemble and high platform shoes- all by Valentino. Her companion for the show is Giancarlo Giammetti- one of the bosses at Valentino. Looks like all the celebrities in the front row are dressed by the designer.

Best Dressed Carey Mulligan Oscars Valentino

CAREY MULLIGAN IS STILL A WINNER

Carey Mulligan may not have won a Best Actress Oscar, but she won our Best Dressed vote. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a significant group of red carpet gowns, so the Oscars were a welcome relief. After reviewing all the choices, (and seeing this Vogue photo) we decided Carey Mulligan’s Valentino Couture gown was the most amazing dress at the Oscars. It fit perfectly and it’s not a dress we feel like we’ve seen before. Carey was surrounded by a sea of sexy low cut gowns with high slits and she remains elegant without all that skin displayed. We can only imagine the size of the vehicle she arrived in, with this huge skirt….

Big hair is officially back and Valentino is leading the way. Models in the Paris Couture show this week walked the runway in gigantic hair that threatened to outshine the dresses themselves. Kaia Gerber, 16, was one of the catwalkers managing to keep a straight face while carefully balancing huge hair and a huge gown. The hairdos were constructed with six hairpieces and plenty of hairspray. Girls in Texas are rejoicing all over the place…

KIM AND KANYE LEADING SEPARATE LIVES?

Kim Kardashian wore this absurdly inappropriate low cut award show gown to the Valentino show in Paris. Naturally she got a lot of paparazzi attention because most attendees wore more stylish covered up outfits in the rainy weather. We wonder what Anna Wintour, who was seated in the front row, thought of Kim’s look. Of course, Kanye was nowhere in sight as usual. RadarOnline reported that the newlyweds have been married for 46 days and have only spent 10 of them together.

Gwyneth Paltrow helped herself to Madonna’s salad at the after party for the movie about the designer “Valentino: The Last Emperor” in New York. Madonna’s self-imposed dietary restrictions make it difficult for her to eat anywhere but at home. So she drinks wine instead. A lot has happened since Madonna and Gwyneth last saw each other, so the girlfriends have a lot of catching up to do.
