KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN: FIGHTING OVER THE MIRROR?

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may not be the best-liked or even the most believable couple in town, but the fact is, they DO have a lot in common. First of all, grooming. These two never leave the house without having every hair and eyelash in place. Even when they’re casually dressed, they are immaculate – not a blemish in sight. They both must spend hours in hair salons, and other beautification places. Plus, both are heavily involved in the fashion business and can certainly use each other ideas and feedback. We’re not crazy about Kanye, but we think he has a more sophisticated fashion sense than Kim.

We love to compare this new promotional photo of Mariah Carey looking like a bronze goddess to a photo taken of her the other day in New York. Mariah is absolutely an attractive girl, but she looks more muscular and sturdier in the NY photo, and her skin is as white as an endive. It’s amazing what a bit of photo enhancement can do for one’s ego.

ROCKY: WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS MAKEUP ARTIST

It’s not likely that Rocky Balboa will win an Oscar (although it’s doing well at the boxoffice) but we think the makeup artist should be up for an award. Not only did she make up Stallone‘s face, but she had to AIRBRUSH on his six – pack ABS every day that he went shirtless in the ring scenes! It’s amazing, but those stomach muscles are FAKE! A little shading goes a long way. The simulated abs look surprisingly real and we predict a lot of guys in Hollywood will be wanting this done.

Ray Liotta Vanity

HIGH PRICE OF BEAUTY

If you plan to watch Tuesday night’s episode of Smith be sure to check out Ray Liotta’s face. We were told that Ray showed up for the first day of shooting with an alarmingly red, swollen, and peeling face! His looks horrifed coworkers – especially the makeup department we’re sure, and he explained that he had recently gotten some sort of face peel. He didn’t realize it would take SO long to heal. Producers were NOT happy – behind Ray’s back they were overheard snarking “We should just kill him off!” Lighting, closeups, wardrobe etc were adjusted to disguise Ray’s raw mug. Tune in to see if it all worked.
