Vince Vaughn, 40, is actually taking the prospect of fatherhood very seriously. He admits he was focused on his career for a long time but now he really wants kids. His wife Kyla, 32, is expecting their first baby in November. Vince even volunteered to attend Lamaze classes with Kyla and, as serious about parenting as he is, he still occasionally cracks up their classmates at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.
It looks like Vince Vaughn married the right girl. His wife Kyla Weber appears to be a sports fanatic just like he is. Above, they’re both clad in Blackhawk jerseys as they sat in the front row watching the Chicago Blackhawks play against the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Chicago. Next week, Vince starts filming the tentatively titled “Cheaters” with Kevin James and Winona Ryder in – where else- Chicago.

Vince Vaughn and his guy friends cheered on the USA hockey team vs Finland at the Winter Olympics semi finals in Vancouver. USA beat the opponents 6 to 1 while he and his buddies munched on hot dogs, french fries, and beer. Despite the fact that he’s 6’5,” Vince has a tendency to pack on pounds, and if he doesn’t watch out he’ll eat his way out of leading man roles. (Remember how adorable he was in “Swingers?”) This spring, he starts filming “Your Cheating Heart” in Chicago with Kevin James. In the movie, Vince’s character discovers his best friend’s wife is cheating, and he can’t decide whether to tell him or not.
Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn had a period of adjustment when they started filming “Four Christmases” but they turned it around. (It’s a romantic comedy about a couple attempting to visit all four of their divorced parents on Christmas.) The costars’ early disagreement was all about preparation – Reese likes to rehearse and knows all her lines, while Vince loves to improvise. Once they got used to each other, they became good friends. Now they’re talking about going golfing together. Reese asked Vince to get a date since her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal wants to go with them and double team. Vince told Reese he’d like her to fix him up with one of her girlfriends. Stay tuned.

Ya gotta love Vince Vaughn. He admitted that he doesn’t wear a watch OR own a cell phone! He’s not technophobic, Vaughn told Jeanne Wolf that when he had a phone, he dreaded answering it and that he likes peace and quiet, especially when he’s driving. He says that when he’s out in public and needs to call someone, he borrows a friend’s phone. The 6’5″ actor insists that it never hurt his relationships (including Jennifer Aniston) – his serious girlfriends got used to his idiosyncrasies and he tried to make up for it by being attentive in other ways.

Did Vince Vaughn really think he could do a little shopping at The Grove and NOT be noticed? He definitely didn’t dress up for the occasion and looks mildly uncomfortable with the attention. He’s about 25 pounds heavier than he was when he appeared in “Swingers,” but he still has that certain something.

This is what happens to people who’ve dated Jennifer Aniston- their stock goes UP and they’re suddenly SO famous they need bodyguards! Vince Vaughn used to meander his way through the Hollywood club scene quite nicely by himself, but he’s turned into a hot commodity and now needs protection from the common people.

We wonder if Vince Vaughn’s trainer charges extra because Vince talks his ear off while they’re working out! A paparazzi secretly followed Vince on a jog recently and took a long series of photos as the two guys ran. What’s funny is, in nearly every frame Vince is pontificating on some subject and adamantly gesturing, while the trainer is just listening politely and kind of nodding his head in agreement. Vince has always been a talker who likes to verbalize his thoughts and he does get carried away, but we bet he’s pretty entertaining.
If Brad Pitt has been looking a little rough around the edges since he started his globe-trotting adventures with Angelina Jolie – there’s a good reason. He lost his hair’s “best friend” – his hairdresser Chris McMillan. Jennifer Aniston is close friends with Chris and she always brought her boyfriends to get haircuts from him. Chris kept Brad looking great until the marriage busted up. Jen asked Chris not to keep Brad as a client and Chris cooperated. Now Brad goes to Angelina’s hairdresser. Most interesting, is the fact that Jennifer did NOT ban Vince Vaughn from Chris McMillan’s salon. Although she brought Vince there, Jen is still friendly with her ex Vince and doesn’t mind if Chris works on him. It convinces us that Jen is a LONG way from having any kind of friendship with Brad.
