CELEBRITIES ARE COMPETING FOR TOP SPOTS AT THE MET GALA

The 2024 Met Ball celebrity hosts haven’t been announced and it’s already turned into a NIGHTMARE for the powers-that-be at Vogue. According to a magazine source, the top A-list celebrities are all jockeying to have the coveted last arrival time. As our source explains, aside from being asked to co-host, the other most prestigious honor is to be given the latest arrival time. Everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé want to be the LAST to walk on the red carpet. (less crowded, more attention!) Some celebs are even threatening to boycott unless they’re given that final slot! While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, our source whispers that Anna Wintour is sensibly leaning toward giving Taylor Swift the honor of either co-hosting or arriving last.

No hard feelings. Paris still considers herself to be Black, but she hasn’t acquired a large Black fan base yet. And expensive designers fight to dress her for red carpet events, so life is good…

BILLIE EILISH’S RESPONSE TO BODY SHAMERS

This is not a photographic head transplant – that’s Billie Eilish and her genuine physique. The 19 year old singer admits to having a “toxic relationship” with her body so she always wears baggy clothes. When a paparazzi caught her off-guard in shorts and a t-shirt, a man in the UK remarked on Twitter that she was too young to have a “mid-thirties wine mom body.” Her fans were outraged and defended her while Billie quit Twitter. Apparently she wants the last laugh because she posed for these sexy lingerie photos for British Vogue in response to the guy’s body shaming and she rightfully defends her “normal body.”

HEIDI KLUM’S DAUGHTER LENI IS ALREADY A COVER GIRL!

Heidi Klum decided that sixteen was the perfect age for her daughter Leni to be allowed to model. Leni has been interested in getting into the business for awhile, but mom turned down offers and refused to allow it until now. Leni never imagined she’d make her modeling debut on the COVER of Vogue Germany! Everybody is saying Leni is a mini-me of Heidi, but we think hair is what they have most in common. Their faces are quite different and beautiful in their own way. It’s nice that all of Heidi’s kids are very fond of her new husband, Tokyo Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz. Tom wisely included the kids when he proposed to Heidi – and asked their permission first!

KENDALL JENNER AND THAT INFAMOUS GOLD TOOTH

Here’s a fad that didn’t catch on – with models, anyway. Back in 2017, Kendall Jenner was photographed sporting a big gold tooth at London Fashion Week. (It brought back the memory of a day, back in the late 80’s, we spent frantically shopping for a gold tooth on 42nd Street because we wanted to look like Willy DeVille) It wasn’t very flattering, but Kendall’s tooth started a ruckus at Vogue when they wrote about it. Some staffers labeled the tooth “cultural appropriation” (which is ridiculous because imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery!) Anyway, Vogue staffers turned on each other and accused editor Anna Wintour of insensitivity. A big fuss over nothing, right? Kendall hasn’t been seen wearing the tooth again…

LIZZO: TRUTH DOESN’T HAVE TO HURT!

Moschino designer Jeremy Scott posted this amazing photo on Instagram of Lizzo wearing his dress in Vogue, and we were duly impressed. Lizzo has never looked more beautiful. She loves fashion (the crazier the better) and will literally try anything, but this is the first time we’ve seen her just look pretty. Lizzo says that she prefers the term “body normative” to “body positive.” She points out that she aims to normalize her body, and that “being fat is normal!” Her size doesn’t stop Lizzo from wearing outlandish stage wear and she encourages other big girls to have fun and do the same.

VOGUE HAS NO DAMN REASON TO APOLOGIZE FOR THIS PHOTO!

In fact, Vogue should DEFEND this photo of Kendall Jenner to the ends of the earth! Since WHEN is a white model not allowed to have curly hair? Exactly WHO is accusing the magazine of “cultural appropriation” – which in itself is an ABSURD notion. Everyone knows that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and being inspired by other cultures BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER. These online trolls look for something to complain about, love to stir up trouble just for fun, and should be IGNORED! Vogue – stand up for yourself – you did NOTHING wrong, and shame, shame, shame on the press for making this an issue and giving those ethically challenged trolls publicity!

PS Lets drop “cultural appropriation” from our vocabulary immediately! Cultural exchange is a GOOD thing.
