We keep asking ourselves: What is going on in Lamar Odom’s head? Why is this successful wealthy athlete getting involved with the Kardashian family? This is a man who has been a frequent visitor and acting like a happy family with his longtime girlfriend and former fiancee Liza Morales and their two children in New York. For years he dodged getting married to Liza and, according to Radar online, when Liza heard about his sudden wedding to Khloe Kardashian she threw out all his clothes. (Fortunately a tall doorman from the building across the street rescued the stuff from the trash – it included size 15 shoes and custom made clothes.) The E! channel is supposedly paying a million dollars for the wedding and OK magazine bought the exclusive scoop for $300,000. Lamar doesn’t get any of it. WHY, WHY, WHY is he marrying this questionable girl after four weeks of knowing her? We can only imagine that he’s a glutton for publicity and enjoying all the attention.

Rhea Durham looks a lot happier about getting married than Mark Wahlberg does. Eight years and three children later, Mark, 38, finally decided to tie the knot. The “Entourage” producer admitted that he had to give up partying with his buddies before he could commit to a real marriage. He may be a reluctant husband, but he’s always enjoyed being a father – Mark is often seen on the street where he lives, playing with his children. He’s got a new entourage now.

Smart move, Bruce. We were happy to hear that Bruce Willis married English lingerie model Emma Heming this weekend at his Caribbean home. The 54 year old “Die Hard” actor has been dating the 30 year old 5′10″ model for over a year and she bears some resemblance to Bruce’s exwife Demi Moore. Since his 2000 divorce, Bruce has been running around with an assortment of inappropriate women – including Lindsay Lohan, at one point. Naturally, the extended family – Demi and Ashton and all their daughters – were at the wedding. This time around, Little Richard did not perform the ceremony.

Victoria Beckham has shown no interest in attending fellow Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s renewal of vows in Egypt. Mel is planning to fly in all kinds of celebrity friends (whether she knows them or not) to attend an extravagant wedding weekend when she and Stephen Belafonte renew their vows. The hitch is that all guests have to sign releases. Melanie hopes to sell the photos and video from the event for tons of money. Granted, she and Victoria both live in LA and rarely socialize, so they aren’t close. But the absence of Victoria and David will certainly lessen the photo value of the event and might influence other celebs not to participate.

This picture of designer Marc Jacobs is too good to pass up – for one thing Marc is looking giddily happy with his new Brazilian “husband” Lorenzo Martone. They had a “wedding” ceremony in France, where it is called a “civil solidarity pact.” The vows aren’t legally binding, so Marc doesn’t have to bother with an inconvenient prenup. Marc has fallen in love with kilts for men and wears them all the time, but he’s not including them in his collections. It looks like his kilt was made by Utilikilt.

Some of Melanie Brown’s acquaintances who are not going to Egypt for her renewed vows wedding are amazed by the former Spice Girl’s lavish plans. Page 6 wrote about the planned wedding where all the guests (hopefully celebrities) must sign releases before the event so the resulting video and photos can be sold, supposedly for a lot of money. Mel’s friends wonder if her husband Stephen “Belafonte,” who calls himself a producer, is producing this event. He is very skillful at spending his wife’s money and hasn’t been working lately. Also, her friends would love to know WHO would be dumb enough to PAY big bucks for exclusive rights. They also wonder if Melanie is hard up for money.

It’s amazing the insults that Jennifer Aniston has to endure. Entertainment magazines have absurdly claimed that she was “making wedding plans” with EVERY guy she’s dated since divorcing Brad Pitt – the latest “future husband” being John Mayer. As if that isn’t embarrassing enough, now the mags are saying she’s anxious about her upcoming fortieth birthday so she had her lips enhanced. The so-called lip enlargement is illustrated with these photos. Clearly, she simply is holding her mouth differently in the two photos and her lips look exactly the same. Give her a break.

We got the inside word on what Nick Cannon was REALLY doing in the Hello Kitty store. He wasn’t shopping for his new bride Mariah. Actually he ducked in there to avoid paparazzi that were following him. He wanted to throw them off the track and get rid of them before he left for his and Mariah’s wedding party at Magic Mountain. Nick had already sold all the media rights to ET and he didn’t want any maverick snappers to spoil the lucrative deal. We love TMZ’s revelation that Nick and Mariah were chauffeured around the park in a pink golf cart- accompanied by her hairstylist and makeup person.

Things are moving AWFULLY fast for Mariah Carey. We broke the news that she was secretly dating Nick Cannon a month ago and it was last week before anyone else caught on. Just days ago the engagement rumor surfaced when Mariah flashed a giant diamond ring that Nick gave her. The ring is EXACTLY the same as the publicized million dollar ring that Nick gave to his LAST fiancee, model Selita Ebanks, who gave it back after they split. Before Mariah realized she had a second hand ring, she was swept off to a tropical island where it is rumored they impulsively got married yesterday. We’re thinking that IF it happened, it was not a legally binding ceremony because there was no time for a pre-nup. Nick IS the ideal antidote for Mariah’s dismal marriage to her older ex music mogul Tommy Mottola. Where Tommy was older and controlling, Nick is younger than Mariah, and fun-loving.

Our source believes Taylor, who’s real name is Mams Mesforoush, left the UK around four years ago with 300 million mysteriously acquired dollars and is “a wanted man” there. Wanted by whom, we don’t know. Supposedly he has made some questionable investments and real estate deals. He wants to be famous and respected, and tried to buy the Chateau Marmont hotel by offering 45 million dollars, but was turned down. He also got involved in charity work, as a way to meet famous actresses like Lara Flynn Boyle. Supposedly he once saw Salma Hayek in the Ralph Lauren store and sent her a $15000 gift. He was also very generous with Lindsay Lohan, but she wouldn’t give him a tumble. He has three Rolls Royces in different colors and likes to show off – he took Taryn on a $50,000 shopping spree on Rodeo Drive. The latest news is he and “Hustle & Flow” star Taryn are engaged and he gave her a huge ring. We’re wondering just how much Taryn knows about her wealthy fiancée.

SNOOP DOGG IS MOVED TO TEARS AT WEDDING

Snoop Dogg surprised all his friends, and most of all his wife Shante, when he renewed his vows on Saturday. He told Shante, (they’ve been together since 8th grade,) they were going to a formal anniversary party at a friends ranch outside Los Angeles. He wore a black tux and got up in front of the crowd of 200 to toast the “anniversary couple” and instead started talking about his wife. He made a touching speech about how difficult it was to be in an entertainment marriage and how much he appreciated her. “It was so SWEET” said a witness. Then the minister walked out and he admitted it was a wedding. During the ceremony Snoop gave his wife a diamond band ring and they held hands and lit a unity candle. Snoop HAD TEARS IN HIS EYES! Afterward they had buffet dinner and Snoop walked up to every table and graciously thanked everyone for attending. It all sounds too refined to be true, but remember, TV cameras recorded it all for his show Father Hood.

Snoop Dogg got married today! Actually he renewed his vows with his wife of ten years Shante. We just wonder if the writers of his E! reality show Father Hood dreamed this up for an episode because it doesn’t happen often in the world of gangsta hip hop, does it? Must be a bunch of guys from Brentwood writing the show- first David Beckham guests and now this. Anyway, the timing is right because a nine year old love child just came back to haunt Snoop and Shante couldn’t be too happy about that. Most rappers would have bought their wives a diamond thingamajig but Snoop is renewing his vows!
