IT REALLY HAPPENED! JENNIFER AND JUSTIN ARE HONEYMOONING!

Since they got engaged in 2012, dozens of tabloids have announced Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding, which of course, didn’t happen. But they sold lots of issues, thanks to Jen. Last night Jennifer and Justin had a fabulous wedding party at their gorgeous home. (Her first husband Brad taught Jen a lot about design and architecture.) We couldn’t be happier for her. Jen and Justin chartered a jet to French Polynesia and the couple took off this morning for their honeymoon.

Guy Ritchie Jacqui Ainsley Madonna Weddings

GUY RITCHIE GOT OVER HIS FEAR OF MARRIAGE CAUSED BY MADONNA

Guy Ritchie, 46, finally got over his marriage phobia when he tied the knot with model Jacqui Ainsley, 33, this weekend. Guy and Jacqui have been together for five years and they have three children. Despite the fact that they felt like “soulmates,” Guy was reluctant to make it legal. His eight year previous marriage to Madonna made him very cautious about taking that step again. Madonna was not easy to live with (remember all that Kabbalah? And all those food restrictions?) – and she nearly ruined his career. Madonna insisted on getting involved in his film-making and the results were disastrous and embarrassing. They were two smart people – just not meant for each other. CRASS VS CLASS: A TALE OF TWO HOLLYWOOD WEDDINGS

Our brilliant friend Linda Stasi at the New York Daily News wrote a hilarious analysis comparing the Clooney/Alamuddin wedding to the Kanye/Kardashian wedding. Both ceremonies involved Hollywood celebrities and took place in Italy, but that’s where the similarity ends. Stasi pointed out in many ways how opposite the taste level was in both events. For example: “One bride posed with her entourage looking like escaped strippers from The Hustler Club. ITALIANS ARE HYSTERICAL OVER GEORGE CLOONEY WEDDING

It looks like the Wedding extravaganza of the Century is taking place in Italy, judging by the country’s level of excitement. George Clooney is marrying Amal Alamuddin this weekend at the fancy Cipriani Hotel in Venice. Stores selling souvenirs are already hawking t-shirts and statues (above) of the bride and groom for sentimental fans. The REAL bride and groom looked ravishing as they arrived at the hotel today.

Nobody wanted to pay for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross’s wedding photos, but this pic that sister Jessica posted on Instagram is a winner. Jessica and her lookalike two year old Maxwell, who was flower girl at the ceremony, are both wearing white fluffy dresses and the resemblance is startling. Lucky Maxwell got her mother’s looks and it appears that her little brother Ace, 1, also resembles the Simpson side of the family.

George’s girlfriend BEFORE Stacy was TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis and she landed herself a doctor. Brian Perri is an orthopedic surgeon at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. We actually felt bad for Rob Kardashian this weekend. He’s been suffering from depression and possibly other problems, but he dutifully pulled himself together and flew all the way to Paris for his sister’s wedding. But before any of the festivities started, he turned around and flew back to LA! It’s rumored that he was immediately disgusted by the vulgar display of wealth and arrogance involved in the wedding preparations. He bailed on the entire weekend and flew home alone. If that’s really how he felt, Rob just became our favorite Kardashian!
