HALLE BERRY IS NOT STARTING TO LOOK HER AGE!

Halle Berry fans and fashion observers went absolutely NUTS when she appeared at the Academy Awards in a new short bobbed haircut. The hair completely upstaged her gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana gown and was the talk of the red carpet and LONG after. A lot of the comments were not so nice such as “Halle Berry is finally starting to look her age!” She finally got tired of the mostly negative uproar and admitted that she was wearing a wig. Just to make SURE that everybody knows she still has her long hair, the 54 year old actress has been posting photos of herself that prominently feature her still-intact tresses.

TYLER, THE CREATOR LOOKS DECEIVINGLY INNOCENT

We aren’t that familiar with Tyler The Creator’s work, but when we saw this photo of him performing in Brixton, it aroused our curiosity. It so happens he was born in Ladera Heights, California, and has quite a reputation. Theresa May banned him from the UK for a few years because she didn’t like some of his “terrorist” lyrics. Tyler has also been called out for his misogynistic lyrics (he seems to hate women) and rape and murder fantasies. You’d never guess it from the way he looks onstage here.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the Queen of Hip Hop, Mary J Blige, has to show up for her Walk of Fame ceremony in this godawful hair. (Congratulations anyway!) This photo will follow her for years to come. It’s time to find a new hair stylist! This is a BIG year for Blige – besides selling tons of music, her new perfume was so successful that she broke HSN records. And she FINALLY got an acting role that proves what a shockingly proficient actress she can be. Mudbound earned her a Golden Globe nomination with more to come. So it makes sense to invest in a suitable hairdresser!

WHAT POSSESSED HALLE BERRY TO WEAR THIS AWFUL WIG TO THE OSCARS?

Halle Berry is lucky that the Best Picture mistaken identity episode occurred at the conclusion of the award show – otherwise everybody would be talking about her wig! She wins WORST HAIR at the event – hands down – and we pity everyone who had to sit behind her at the show! This wig was stiff as a board- didn’t move when she did, and sat on her head like a hat. Halle’s dress onstage was lovely but she changed before she and her WIG went to the Vanity Fair party (above.) Why she didn’t take the WIG off when she had the chance, is a mystery.

Jeff Beck may be an amazing guitarist, but he has no taste whatsoever when it come to picking out wigs. This oversize frosted hairpiece looks like something Cher wore in the 80’s and it fools NO ONE. Nobody has hair like that at the age of 71. Jeff needs a hairstylist – or maybe some advice from Mickey Rourke.

BEYONCE: NOT ALL WIGS ARE CREATED EQUAL

Beyonce and Jay-Z just arrived in London from Paris and they couldn’t wait to hit some night spots such as The Arts Club. Beyonce rocked a new wig with Bettie Page bangs, but it just doesn’t work. Too stringy and bushy, and the bangs are way too short. It simply doesn’t look real. Which is a good thing, because if her real hair was cut this way it would take a long time to repair. In spite of the dubious wig, the pair had an affectionate evening.

WITHOUT HER OWN HAIR, JENNIFER ANISTON IS JUST ANOTHER CUTE GIRL

This photo is proof that hair really DOES matter. Jennifer Aniston is filming Squirrel to the Nuts in New York and to make her look more ordinary, she was fitted with a plain brown wig. Without her long shiny hair swinging, she’s just not the same person. Interesting side notes: the movie Is being directed by Peter Bogdanovich and was written by Peter and his wife Louise Stratten (Dorothy’s sister, remember?) Also costarring is Cybill Shepherd, who became a star in Peter’s “The Last Picture Show.”

DID CHER’S WIGS SABOTAGE HER ROMANCE WITH TOM CRUISE?

All this gossip about Tom Cruise and Cher having a secret romance back in the 80’s is way off base. It was NEVER a secret! Cher and Tom were seen necking on a couch at a party at Paul Newman’s house. (Tom and Paul became friendly while filming the 1986 movie “The Color of Money”) Partygoers couldn’t help buzzing. Cher was quite smitten with 16 years younger Tom. After that scene, the paparazzi were all over them and magazines were full of photos of the odd couple while the short romance lasted. We think Cher’s unfortunate choice of wigs damaged the relationship. The top photo was taken at a White House event and features Tom and Cher as well as Bruce Jenner.
