Winona Ryder looks like she REALLY doesn’t want to be noticed at LAX where she is apparently traveling with an unidentified man. Winona, 38, hasn’t had much luck in the love department- she’s dated plenty of guys but her relationships don’t seem to last. (Remember, she was once engaged to Johnny Depp?) One of her problems is, she has a weakness for musicians, who usually don’t make ideal partners.

French newspapers are aflutter over Winona Ryder’s missing diamonds. As you may know, Winona was invited to a French event sponsored by Marie Claire magazine and they loaned her a dress and a Bulgari diamond bracelet and ring to wear. The $125,000 worth of diamonds turned up missing and at first it was erroneously reported that Winona claimed she left them in the hotel’s safe before she left the next day. Now, according to TMZ, Winona says she left the dress and diamonds in her hotel room because no one from Marie Claire came to fetch them. She left on an early morning flight. The dress was found in the hotel room but not the diamonds. First of all, we can’t figure out why Bulgari would lend diamonds to a convicted shoplifter and not assign a guard to follow her around. Second, is Winona really dumb enough to leave diamonds behind in a HOTEL ROOM? We think not. So far, police have not contacted Winona. Will she get away with this?

We love it when we’re right! The National Enquirer picked up our story about Winona Ryder setting off the shoplifting bells at the CVS pharmacy in Hollywood. Never a dull moment in the CVS Pharmacy in Hollywood. A source told us that recently the alarm bells went off at the door as a customer was walking out with a bag full of purchases. Security stopped the shopper, who turned out to be none other than Winona Ryder! She showed the guard her receipt and he proceeded to check her bag. There were a couple of makeup items that were not paid for. Wide-eyed Winona said “I don’t know how that happened” and s

PARAMOUNT IS KEEPING EVERYTHING ABOUT STAR TREK UNDER WRAPS

Paramount has been cloaked in secrecy since the Star Trek prequal commenced filming. (Zachary Quinto, above, is playing the young Mr Spock) The movie is now being mysteriously referred to as “The Executive Project.” Studio tours have been rerouted to avoid the “Executive Project” soundstage. Every actor and crew member has signed confidentiality agreements and guards are posted outside every stage door. When actors walk from stage to dressing rooms they wear long black cloaks with hoods to completely cover their costumes. Golf carts are totally shrouded in black fabric with an opening for the drivers eyes. Winona Ryder was annoyed because she wasn’t allowed to go outside and smoke so they built a 10X10 black tent outside the soundstage where she can puff privately. Looks like early photos of this film with be worth major bucks.

For the first time Winona Ryder discussed her shoplifting arrest over five years ago at Saks Fifth Avenue with Vogue magazine. She pretty much blamed her behavior on prescription painkillers and implied it would never happen again. What a short memory you have, Winona! Around two years ago the sweet looking actress was shopping in a boutique on Beverly Blvd, and after trying on numerous items, she walked out wearing clothes she didn’t pay for. Oops! The store owner had the evidence on a security tape but was kind hearted and didn’t call the cops. The owner contacted Winona’s people and gave them the option of reimbursing the store. They paid up and we have a feeling this isn’t the only time this has happened.

Since we NEVER get tired of looking at Johnny Depp we decided to share this vintage photo of Johnny and his then-girlfriend Winona Ryder at The Golden Globes around 1991. They had just costarred in Edward Scissorhands and were THE hot couple at that time. It was a serious romance – at least for Johnny. That’s when Depp got his “Winona Forever” tattoo, that was later altered to “Wino Forever.” We wonder if Winona ever regrets breaking Johnny’s heart.
