CATHERINE ZETA-JONES HAS HIT THE WALL AND DOESN’T LIKE IT

Catherine Zeta Jones, 46, is busy promoting her British comedy Dad’s Army, and she took her pretty mother Patricia Fair along for the ride. She admits that she’s suddenly feeling the pinch of the lack of roles for women in Hollywood over the age of 35. Catherine says she wasn’t aware of the problem until it slammed her personally. Her husband Michael Douglas, 71, continues to get desirable movie offers.

  1. What an elitist bitch. Until it happens to her? Maybe she should speak to other actresses or pick up a book. I for one will not miss her at all if her career is over. And same for her husband.

  2. My guess it’s not just KZ’s age; it’s all the other baggage she has on top of it.

  3. She still riding that train? She got more time than others because she lied about her age. Everybody knows. And shame on her for not having a more active voice when she was “younger”

  4. What utter rubbish. Jane Fonda has no trouble finding roles. It’s a question of talent, not age.

  5. Balada has hit it! Even in her prime CZJ couldn’t play much more than token pieces!

  6. I dont recall CZJ playing any roles with much depth. Like in Zorro, or Oceans 11, the required beauty.

  7. Wasn’t she known to be very free (but not for free) with her charms early in her life? Catching up to her now?

  8. I think it’s because when you’re young, you never imagine you’re actually going to get old … until you do.

  9. Catherine is 56 not 46. Her real age was found out when she went to the White House when George Bush was in office and the Secret Service had to give her and Michael security clearance.
