Charlotte Casiraghi (daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco) and her friend Athina Onassis, 26, are buddies on the horse jumping circuit. Athina is the daughter of Christina Onassis and the only surviving descendant of Aristotle Onassis. (It’s nice that she turned out tall and slim because her mother was always tormented by her weight.) Athina married an older, but handsome Brazilian showjumper, and she is raising his two children in Brazil where she is dedicated to a “simple, healthy life,” but she takes the kids to school in a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce.

Athina Onassis looks alot like her Mom. It is nice to see that the same sadness and strife has not plagued her, as it did her Mother.
I guess it kind of shines a good light on her father, Thierry Roussel, and his raising of her. He was not a very popular man in the beginning. People accused him of being more interested in her money than her.

Aristotle Onassis believed that his troubles—the Onassis curse—began with his marriage to Jacqueline Kennedy.
When his son was killed in a plane crash, he blamed her and never forgave her.
Then, when you consider what some call the “Kennedy Curse”—and recall the various family tragedies, including the death of JFK Jr. in a plane crash in 1999, well, that’s A LOT of mojo (karma, whatever) to combine in a marriage.
Athina seems like she has a good head on her shoulders.
But I remember a lot of bad press surrounding her father Thierry Roussel; he was painted as nothing more than a world-class gold-miner, who struck the motherlode when he impregnated Christina.
Also remember when Christina married a one-eyed alleged KGB agent (not making this up) in the then-ironclad-Soviet Union.
The pictures of her as a newlywed sitting with him in his small, dingy state apartment in Moscow were something else.
The marriage didn’t last, but I also recall that he got two oil tankers or something like that in the divorce LOL.
Thierry Roussel was/is nothing but a fortune hunter. Contractually, Christina had to pay him a large, fixed amount each time she wanted him to have sex with her. She was so desperate to have a baby that she actually agreed to this.
You have money and time and that means you should really rock the house and have a really good time and it should be that way for the rest of your life and have wonderful fantastic days ahead of you and put your best food forward and have an amazing day and have a Beautiful life.
