We have to admit we are very relieved to hear that Cher plans to fulfill her obligation to Caesars Palace and share the stage with Bette Midler starting in May. First we heard that Cher was having special treatments for “tummy troubles.” Then we heard the unsettling news that a source had bumped into Cher in the waiting room at the UCLA Medical Center in the outpatient treatment center for cancer patients having chemotherapy. Supposedly, Cher was seen there twice with a bodyguard by her side. Since she’s gearing up to perform in May, we figure Cher was there not for treatment herself, but waiting for someone- maybe even Farrah Fawcett. And the show WILL go on in Las Vegas!

  1. Hey, how many times has Cher “retired”. I don’t like her or her songs, they all sound alike. Beside the point, we had huge tornadoes last night, and just 3 blocks from my house 3 people were killed when a medical lab collapsed. All around me there were tornadoes, death, injuries and destruction. Sorry to digress, please say a prayer for us.

  2. DUMP THE BODYGUARDS!!
This action will save indeed some money.
AND ONE “HELL’ OF A DAUGHTER WILL DO THE TRICK!!
    I guess?

  3. Cher may have early stage colorectal cancer. After a little chemo she’d be ready for Vegas in May. No obvious signs of hair loss since she wears fabulous wigs.

  4. Thankful obviously knows nothing about rock & roll or music! Cher has one of the most diverse recording backgrounds of any singer in history (besides Linda Ronstadt) and her songs do not all sound alike. She started out in folk-rock w/Sonny, did commercial story-song schlock pop & disco & American Songbook standards in the 70s, new wave rock with Black Rose early 80s, Bon Jovi arena rock mid-late 80s, then Euro disco techno in the 90s. SHEESH! Hope she’s okay because she’s a major talent and deserves the Kennedy Center Honor.

  5. Remember in “Clams on the Half Shell Revue” when BETTE’s opening joke was: “Now I’ve been away, and many of you may have heard that I was at a plush Beverly Hills rehab facility, but I am here to tell you, Cleveland, the truth is that in a spasm of sisterly generosity, I donated my TITS to CHER! And she was SOOOo happy to get ’em I can’t begin to tell you!”

  6. Elijah Blue: I just meant her deep voice is so low & obvious. “If I could turn back time”. Yuck. I grew up on Elvis and met him and went to a private movie screening with one of his friends. I believe the world would agree that he is the king. Signed, Thankful, and now I will get back to grieving the billion dollar loss of life and property in this area.

  7. Cher’s face is bloated and her lips are obviously plumped. Chastity is just plain plump, as in huge.

  8. Best wishes from the Great White North Thankful.
    The beat goes on…

  9. I think Cher’s deep low voice is cool, I always could sing along with her because she was almost in my key (I’m a guy), I learned a lot of songs through her (Dylan for one). I agree “Turn Back Time” is dreadful, I wish she’d do a show MINUS the hits and do some of her album tracks from the past! I absolutely ADORE ELVIS! Take care.

  10. 6:29 AM: My kind of good folks if you like Elvis. I meant him 3 months after he finished making “Blue Hawaii”. He was impossibly handsome and not the least bit conceited. Me, a girl, almost melted. Anyhoo, I know all can have their own opinion, but am glad that a guy realzies she has a man’s voice, IMHO. She does have a smooth voice, just not to my liking, and I INSIST EVERYONE SEE IT MY WAY. LOL. (And I am unanimous in that).

  11. Correction on 2:05 PM…..I MET him 3 months….not MEANT him 3 MONTHS.

  12. Just read that Tom Petty met Elvis when he was a teen when The King was in Fla. working on a film. The meeting changed Petty’s life, he had a box of Elvis 45s and learned them all on guitar and became obsessed with rock & roll and being a rock star!
