Cher showed up at the AFI Awards honoring Mike Nichols in her trademark goth look – chains, layers of fishnet, a little black leather, and a perky wig. She just finished her movie “Burlesque” and starts “The Drop-out” with Johnny Knoxville next. Cher and Meryl Streep had a laugh reminiscing about the movie “Silkwood” they did together, which was directed by Nichols.

This is NOT a flattering look on Cher. The layers add too much thickness to her waist area, and overall the outfit just has a shapeless bag look. Meryl look to be getting a bit thick in the middle too, but then at her age it’s not surprising. They were great together and I can’t wait for Cher’s new movie. I wish she’s act more, the few she’s done have been really good movies as far as I’m concerned. I just hope she’s done hacking pieces of her face away. She was such a doll when she was young and just starting out, I much preferred her real, original face. AND I thought Sonny was sexy too!
these ladies would make a terrific lesbian couple to watch.
