CHRISTINA AGUILERA CLAIMS SHE’S HAPPY WITH HER WEIGHT

Photo via: Daily Mail

Does ANYBODY believe Christina Aguilera when she insists that she’s happy being overweight? Currently promoting her show “The Voice,” Christina claims that she and her boyfriend Matt Rutler are happy with her body. But Christina is a performer and let’s face it, fans expect her to look good. We get the feeling she’s defending her size because she doesn’t want to give up drinking! Christina is only 31 and when she appears onstage bulging out of her skin tight clothes, it’s almost enough to make one forget she’s a good singer.

  1. Hey REta!
It looks like she’s starting to defrost those frozen Sara Lee cakes in her mouth!
Oh my and sagiddy sagiddy, she’s rocking the latest in jungle moo moo.
Can’t get those moo moo’s at just any thrift store ya know.

  2. She seems to be a little bit nicer since she gained some weight. Of course, it could be that she increased her drinking.

  3. Her boobs look like they are already sagging and that’s not good for a woman only 31 years old. She is thick.

  4. I don’t believe her, especially since Kelly Osborne said she used to call Kelly fat. Yes, she’s sagging quite a bit for just 31.

  5. Yep. She’s sporting quite an impressive pair of “National Geographics” there. 🙂

  6. I wonder if Britney Spears is secretly sending her chocolates, prepaid pizzas, liquor… lol

  7. It’s not the weight I object to, she needs to quit bleaching her hair, get some decent makeup and clothing

  8. When Christina was a young girl, she was probably under a tremendous amount of pressure from Disney, as well as her record label to BE and portray the perfect image. Now that she is older and wealthier, she is trying to rebel against the Hollywood standards and do what makes her happy. What she doesnt realize, is that rebelling by drinkng and being overweight, in the long run…. is NOT going to make her happy! She’s a smart girl though, she’ll figure it out.

  9. This is an example of eating and drinking as “self medicating”.

  10. Palermo, the body language exhitbited above is all about hiding and being closed in. She’s obviously NOT liking what she looks like right now, and the rest of us don’t like it either. She’s a VERY tiny female when fit, tiny anyway, but just a snippit of a thing, and that type of lady shouldn’t let herself gain extra weight. Similar to Dolly Parton. She was overweight many years ago and then got it all off and has kept it off, other than the giant fake rediculous boobs, her so-called trademark, or what she’s known for, she’d be real cute. Also I don’t like the extreme facelifts, but I believe Dolly’s in her 70’s now, so it’s getting harder to keep up the illusion. Gee, wonder what her real hubby looks like now. I doubt HE’S had a bunch of plastic surgery.

  11. This is what Americans call beauty?
    And supposed talent?!
    Very silly people, Americans.

  12. She had a kid folks. Who wants to see fake bolts all the time? With the scare in France who is thinking about putting fake breast in?

  13. just put her in a stable full of pigs and you will see NO difference.

  14. Listen, it’s cool if she’s fat or whatever. The real problem is that she needs a stylist, and she’s always drunk. She’d look much better if she tackled these two problems instead.

  15. She was also very happy to have Sam Ronson munching between her legs. Total bi sexual tried and true. Will be a problem in any future marriages.

  16. I agree that her weight isn’t the real issue. Her styling- hair and makeup and clothing- is awful, but that’s not really the issue either. The issue is her drinking, which is out of control and her cheating on and dumping a nice guy to get with an unemployed loser and her complete refusal to acknowledge that her son needs a mother. A responsible one. She seems to have little to no interest in him. Look at her priority list- boyfriend loving her body is first, son came last.

  17. I’m not a huge Christina fan, but I think she looks a lot better than the pin-thin anorexic-looking women that Hollywood pushes as “beautiful”. They’re not beautiful, they’re scary. I don’t know one man who doesn’t want a woman with some curves and “something to hold on to”. I hope Christina stands her ground and tells all the haters of her curves to go to hell.

  18. Reta, I think Dolly Parton looks like the Joker now. Saw the promo for her new movie and she is downright scary looking. They always start out looking good but keep getting “one more thing” done until they look like freaks. Joan Rivers comes to mind as well.

  19. I agree with the above posters regarding Christina’s style choices. She is trying to dress like she is still a size 0, when clearly, she is a 10-12.

She has to stop trying to squeeze into clothes that no longer flatter her fuller figure. She can still dress and look sexy, she just has to learn to accentuate her positives, instead of her negatives!

  20. I believe aguilera is bulimic who has stopped purging her food.
her weight has fluxuated before, but this is the largest she has looked.

  21. I agree with Muffie that she is around a size 10. That’s not a bad size but you don’t want to wear skin tight clothes if you have a little bit of pudge.

  22. She’s about a size 12, she wishes she was a 10. Needs to shed 40 pounds and tone up. I bet her old-time rival Britney is rotflhao.

  23. PAtrick, if you’re really asking seriously, I just came back today from getting a biopsy on my thyroid. The procedure was quite interesting and I watched on the ultrasound machine as the Doctor inserted the needle 4 diff times to get cells from the lump. Wed I am going for a breast ultrasound. After that, I have an apt on the 19th for the results and to plan the next step, which will be most likely surgery. I don’t believe lumps belong in the body (esp MINE) and even if the throat/thyroid one turns out benign, I want it OUT!

  24. REta, I’m getting a “lump” in my throat reading what you’re writing. I am sorry you have to do this. Everything will work out. It always does.
    I have a lump sucker! But I can’t share.

  25. Reta, Strom likes to remind us that its not about the posters, but I want you to know that I hope everything works out well for you. And please let us know how you’re doing.

I don’t know how you could watch the doctor stick needles into your neck. I think I would have fainted.

  26. Reta, I think of you daily and wonder how you are doing. I have positive feelings (and yes, prayer) that you are going to get through this & be tougher than ever. There are those here that do care for you very much. For those of us, please continue to keep us in the loop and allow us to know how you are doing.

  27. Reta, I’ve had some really rotten luck for this new year. So far all I’ve done is cry, and I realize I’m not nearly as tough as you.

A little ditty from one of the Seinfeld episodes:

“Get well, get well soon, we want you to get well”.

  28. Stay strong and positive Reta!

Here is a song just for you-ou-ou, from a well known mutual friend Bob Marley:

    “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”

This song makes evvveryone feel good!!

  29. Reta, I just found out the song is really called:

    “Three Little Birds”

  30. It’s all true.. being a sex symbol, hungry and drunk, drugged all the time is boring and painful..

  31. Yay! An overweight super star! It’s about time! My Mom was 200 lbs yet College kids still flirted with her when she was in her 50s! It’s not the size of the body, but rather the size of the personality xxoo

p.s. I have a model body and can testify it can suck. It’s like being rich. Is the man with me for ME or…

  32. Thank all you darlings for your caring thoughts! I AM an ass kicker and always HAVE been. My closest friends can’t believe the life I’ve lead and still have an optimistist attitude about things. Somehow I DO always float to the top.

    The optimist fell ten stories
    at each window bar
    he shouted to his friends:
    ALL RIIIIGHT SOOOO FAR!

I don’t know what floor I’m at so I’m not looking down from here on in…nobody do me any short cuts and shout it out to me, promise?

  33. PS: GoGo your mom and me just might me long lost twins. I’ve had the same strange happenings to me since growing older and somewhat heavier. When I was “fine” in my youth, I always had a man if I wanted one, but it seemed like I had to do all the brain work. Now that I’m older it amazes me (still) how often younger men come on to me, flirt, ask me if i’m single, etc. I have fun flirting with them and then go home chuckling in wonderment.

  34. Reta, good luck with the biopsies and the lumpectomies. I think it’s great how you are managing your treatment (people who manage their treatment tend to have the best prognosis!) Stay strong (I know you will)

  35. Re: Aguilera

The problem isn’t just that she is bulging out of her clothes, it’s that she selects the most unflattering clothes for her size and shape (and she did this when she was thin, too, but it wasn’t quite as noticeable then). And that she’s frequently drunk and making poor choices, as people have pointed out.

Totally agree with Palermo on the bleach, makeup and clothing!
