Christina Aguilera is very excited about making her first movie “Burlesque” in which she plays a small town girl (above in white high heels) with an amazing voice who comes to LA and gets a job in a modern burlesque club. The club owner, played by Cher, takes her under her wing, and there’s a reason that it sounds like a replay of The Pussycat Dolls. The movie’s writer/director is Steve Antin who is executive producer of The Dolls, and his sister Robin Antin is choreographer. We’re betting that Jonathan Antin will do the hair. Christina actually made guest appearances with the Dolls, early on, but can she ACT?

  1. She looks good without the usual heavy makeup, except for the stripper heels. Save those for the bedroom.

  2. She is so pretty when she doesn’t slather on a pound of foundation and half a tube of that awful bright red lipstick.

  3. Steve Antin’s screenplay for the remake of “Gloria” w/Sharon Stone sucked, so this probably will, too. Can’t believe Cher agreed to this, but I’ll go see it for her. I don’t like X-Tina, admit she has a great voice but I don’t like her songs.

  4. She still likes to party down big time, and was caught coming out of a L.A. club totally sloshed.

  5. She has no taste or class and her songs are all generic crap. Not really an artist, more like a good karaoke singer.
