DAN AYKROYD WANTS A BIGGER CHUNK OF THE CELEBRITY LIQUOR BUSINESS

Dan Aykroyd is in Philadelphia autographing bottles of his Crystal Skull Vodka for Ghostbusters fans. (The Italian-designed skull bottle is quite attractive.) He spends a few months every year making personal appearances at wine & spirits stores across the country to promote his $40 vodka. Certainly he must be inspired by the success of George Clooney’s billion dollar Casamigos Tequila company. In 2011, 21,000 bottles of Crystal Skull were stolen from a California warehouse and Dan joked that he was “happy that some customers will have the opportunity of tasting it at a significantly lower price.”
