As a result of living nearly four years in the US, David Beckham says his kids Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5, make fun of their father’s British accent. Sometimes they laugh and mimic his pronunciation. David says he was putting Cruz to bed recently and he said “Daddy, you’re so ENGLISH!” The entire Beckham family has decided that Los Angeles is where they want to be. David likes to tell his UK pals that last December he and the boys were in the pool. “LA is a great place to live.” We agree.

The two boys are beyond spoiled. Take them to an orphanage or a homeless shelter and let them see real day to day suffering. Life is so unfair.

I agree, his voice is a turn off. But he is gorgeous to look at. And you have to admit, their boys are beautiful.
Denise, I have to say that 1) Beckham does keep in good shape — he goes beyond the average pro footballer when it comes to health and fitness, and 2) Victoria has styled him well. However, in terms of looks, David is an average-looking blondish Essex boy — nothing special there.
I think this is why the Beckham’s moved to America in the first place. Americans admire people who achieve as opposed to being blessed. Madonna is the ultimate example — she would not have ascended in any other country as she has no real talent and in not really beautiful, her success is down to her force of will, determination, and hard work.
Oops, not to discount Becks’ athletic talent — I was just discussing his “looks”.
If all Essex boys are as “average looking” as he is, I’ll have to visit there sometime!
Kind of ironic, since Los Angeles doesn’t love them back. Galaxy fans are still pissed at the way he made gazillions while doing nothing for them, and the rest of us just find them super tedious. Especially tedious is going to the restroom after a nice dinner and having Vicky race in to barf up whatever tiny morsels she crammed down that sulky mouth of hers.
How do they get all their money. He is always on the injured list and there should be some kind of cut-off time on this if you can’t produce. She is a sullen-looking stick figure, and the buffoons that think she is a fashionista should get their eyes examined. Goooo awaaaay.
