Yep, it’s happening. The X Files series (1993 – 2002) is coming back to Fox. Both stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, have been approached and are interested. They originated the roles of Scully and Mulder, FBI agents who investigate the paranormal. And their fans are STILL out there! Schedules are being worked out and script ideas are being pitched, aiming to start next summer. Now the rumors about the pair having a secret romance can start all over again – both happen to be single.

They both have always been very ummm loose in the morals department. I’ve always thought they had/have hooked up. And, of course, David does have that big honker.

Huge X-files fan, but I think that ship has sailed. David D. continually dissed the series and the TV show became crap. You can’t go home again.
I hope we won’t have to put up with “are they dating” crap for the duration of filming and thereafter. Frankly, he’s a player and his ex-wife (she traded way UP with Tim Daly)is well rid of him. Gillian doesn’t look like she wants anything serious and they are ill suited personality wise, onscreen chemistry and playful flirting aside. Gillian can find herself someone FAR better. All that being said I am happy to see more X-Files!
I used to think he was too good for her, and I still am a fan of his an actor, not a person, but after his behaviour with Tea, well he deserves whatever he gets.
Both are extremely plain and boring
I would LOVE to see a re-do with these two in it…they both look good even today and with all the new writing and special effects talent in Hollywood now, they would do an even BETTER job than they did 20 years ago ! ( wow, it started in 1993…so long ago)…
And I think that today, there is an even broader audience for this type of TV show…I would definitely be on board and everyone I know would be too.
