Not only were we surprised to learn that mild mannered midwestern born David Letterman (above with former assistant Stephanie Birkett) was a lothario in his own office, but we were equally shocked to find out the girls in the office still love him! In fact, Dave’s production company has always been known as female friendly – meaning they get hired and promoted and paid like men. Former employees who have dated Dave swoon that they never felt pressured by their boss and they were absolutely crazy about him! They found Dave to be funny and endearing. Not one of his former paramours has a bad word to say about Letterman and most were heartbroken when the relationship ended! “The girls all love him” offered one employee. So far it appears that he’s a lousy husband but not such a bad boss.

Just goes to show you how far the USA (and the entire world) has fallen – Dave getting more viewers because they wanna hear more about his affairs. Maybe that’s why God’s wrath is on us…i.e. California fires, floods, busted economy, high crime, unemployment, foreclosures, etc.
Well, I’m one female who DOES find him attractive, funny, endearing. What makes him the most attractive is NOT his money, but his quick mind. I am single and just younger than Dave and think he’s cute, attractive, keeps himself in shape and he makes me laugh out loud on a regular basis. Conan doesn’t do that. Conan acts like a dumb kid that’s slightly retarded. Conan’s sidekick Andy is quicker and sharper witted than he is.
I’d do a poor Dave in a heartbeat just on the strength of his sense of humor, the most powerful aphrodesiac there is. Smart-funny.

Reta, I’m with you. A total fan of Dave and I doubt his wife was surprised by his past relationships, they probably just didn’t talk about them. I hope he’s been a faithful husband, he did say the relationships were in the past and so far it’s confirmed he’s been loyal since Regina became family.
my feeling is – he didn’t sexually harrass these women like Bill O’Reilly did. He’s also not a politician, he’s an entertainer. He didn’t attack any 13 yr olds, he didn’t rum off with his adopted step- daughter, he didn’t even have these affairs after he was married and had a child. I’m not making excuses. I’m just trying to put some perspective on this.
Dave’s career is over. He ruined the reps of every woman who works or has worked for him. They will never get over that. He needs to resign or be fired. He’s a decrepit pervert. I can’t even stand to look at him.
He’s not a lousy husband…he was a lousy boyfriend. He wasn’t married when any of this went on (hopefully). I’m sure Regina knew he wasn’t a faithful boyfriend for 27 years..she’s just pissed that the whole world knows about it now.

Why is he such a bad husband? To all reports, he hasn’t had any affairs since he got married. We don’t know whether he and his girlfriend at the time (now wife) were exclusive. So let’s focus on the fact that Letterman and his lady friends had consensual relationships–which is legal–and then he was extorted–which is not.
We are all still waiting to see exactly what type of woman Regina is. Will she sue for divorce or put up with Dave until he’s cremated???
