DID PRINCE DIE LIKE ELVIS?

It had to be painkillers that took Prince from us too soon – but many questions are still unanswered. His Percocet overdose that caused his plane to land in Illinois for emergency treatment tells a lot of the story. But one wonders if Prince ever really HAD the double hip replacement he supposedly needed in 2009. His Jehovah’s Witness religion forbade the surgery, but did Prince do it anyway? He also had foot pain from wearing those high heels at all times – even when physically active. (Recently he’d been wearing high heel sneakers.) He was vocal about NOT doing drugs, but, like Elvis Presley, was he convinced that PRESCRIPTION drugs were okay? Prince and Elvis both lived in insulated worlds, convinced they had special needs others didn’t have, and therefore self-medicating was acceptable. Apparently Michael Jackson, Prince, and many others did NOT learn a lesson from Elvis’s death.

  1. Elvis died on the pot; Prince in an elevator. Prescription (opioid) addiction is rampant in america not only with celebs but with common, everyday folks as well. Why do you think Heroin is on the rise?

Let this be a lesson for EVERYBODY to learn. Drugs discriminated against nobody; color, race, creed, socioeconomic status…she’ll eat you alive in a moments notice; prescription or street.

  2. Circa 1980’s in Los Angeles many had asked whose that guy singing soulful pop in panties and boots? It was by chance that I went with a good friend to see Prince perform at The Forum in the late 90’s. He was a strange little dude and I was never a raving fan. I did however know he was a serious talent and after seeing him I knew I stood to be corrected. He was a phenomenal showman and musician, he played almost every instrument! I was blown away by him, been to many live concerts in my life and that show still stands out as one of the best I’ve seen! We lost a another great of our era. Whatever you may think he was a very special artist! I have to turn my sorrow into appreciation, think I’ll wear something purple today.

  3. Jehovah Witnesses allow operations just not blood transfusions…also they do bloodless surgery for hip replacement – how do I know I had one….please do research before you write crap!

  4. Prince was an amazingly creative talent who lived life on his own terms, right up to the last minute. May he rest in peace.
