DID YOU THINK “FIFTY SHADES OF GREY” WAS SEXY?

Marketing for “Fifty Shades of Grey” has been brilliant. it opened in 58 countries simultaneously and pulled in 158 million dollars in one long Valentines weekend. As delighted as Universal Studios execs are, we wonder if people who paid to see the film are anywhere near as satisfied. We were lucky to be invited to a screening and agree with Madonna that the movie was NOT sexy. Jamie Dornan’s character Christian was rather prissy and kept hinting there was a dark reason for his dominant predilections, but we never learned what it was. In fact, there really was no plot. It was like half a book was filmed, and the overly long movie ended abruptly without much happening. Of course, negative word of mouth won’t matter, because big money has already been made.

  1. Would not waste my time on something like this. Also, people can’t complain about spending money on a terrible movie if they don’t wait to read the reviews on it first.

  2. I’m so fat and massive my PCA can’t wheel me into the door of a movie theater. I’ll have to wait for Netflix.

  3. I got through about 2 chapters of the book, it was such drivel not erotic at all and seemed like it was written by a 13year old who had failed basic English. So I’m certainly not going to waste my money on the movie. Luckily didn’t waste any money on the book either just borrowed it from a friend who also hated it.

  4. Poor little imposter….got 2 stupid little gay posts while he slipped away from the call center. It so wants to be Strom!

  5. I read the books and enjoyed them and loved the movie. Looking forward to the second movie but I hear already there is trouble.

  6. I just saw the movie for the first time and loved it. Jamie Dornan took a lot of crap for his acting but he was awesome. He did it all with his eyes. And he’s gorgeous, perfect, sexy. Dakota Johnson is the real deal. The girl can act. I DO want to see the sequels.
