DIVINE BROWN IS GRATEFUL TO HUGH GRANT FOR GIVING HER A “PRETTY WOMAN” LIFE

Divine Brown is living happily ever after thanks to that fateful night in 1995 when she had a $50 sexual encounter with Hugh Grant. Divine (real name Stella Thompson) says that infamous scandal earned her over a million dollars and changed her life. Dozens of interviews later, she gave up the sex trade and moved to Atlanta where she put her two daughters through college. Now she has a new house in the suburbs, a baby, a fiance, and they run a music production company together. Divine likens her experience to “Pretty Woman” and says Hugh was her Richard Gere. We love a happy ending and we bet Hugh does also.

  1. Thanks JC for the update on Ms.Brown.
If she had to have a close encounter with Hugh Grant to change the direction of her life at that particular time, I guess their “get-together” served a purpose for her to dedicate her life to her children, and be happy as she appears to be *now. What a beautiful young child, who seems to be well adjusted, and happy in the arms of her mother.

  2. Good she had the opportunity to leave her past behind and take advantage of that.

  3. Hopefully it is true. Maybe the IRS should pay her records a visit just to see.

  4. Pretty Woman? Smart woman. Good for her. Is a million plus dollars compensation enough for services Ms. Hugh Grant though?

  5. I know she didn’t get out of the sex trade right away, because a couple of years ago, she was working at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch (the one that was featured as an HBO series)… way, way better than trolling the streets of Hollywood. I expect she made a good amount of dough from that experience, too. 🙂

  6. She’s far from a “pretty woman” and I’ll bet Hugh had to be particularly drunk and or stoned the night he picked that up to give him a suck. Not to picky, eh Hugh? Like Jay Leno asked…”what were you THINKING????”

  7. Well, at least by law the Bunny Ranch had her checked monthly for diseases. Hugh was probably too dumb to get checked and he was probably the one that spread germs.

Reta, After all this time, I also remember Leno asking him this question. The simple-minded jerk had no real answer for him. teehee.

  8. Hugh Grant, despite being very middle-class British, is the closest male equivalent to the stereo-typical bleach-blonde airhead. The only think in that over-coiffed head of his is a hamster on a trampoline.

  9. Well I suppose it’s good she turned her life around but, STILL, there is something very wrong with the way this country rewards people for doing the WRONG thing. What about all the poor young women who choose to work at McDonald’s instead of selling themselves on the street? Where are the people that want to interview them or pay them a million dollars? What’s the message this is promoting????

  10. Polka Dotty I agree…same thing with the loser Lindsay Lohan, some wanting to pay her loser ass for an interview. I wouldn’t walk across the street to see her for free. I have absolutely NO interesting in hearing, seeing this used up tramp now or EVER in the future. She had her chance and screwed it away so to hell with her. She can take Paris with her when she dissappears…PLEASE! I’d be so happy to never have to hear anything about either of them again…add Britney to the mix and I’d be in Heaven!

  11. Isn’t the problem rooted in Judeo-Christian thinking? The prodigal son?

There seems to be an attitude that the person who has wandered, done wrong, and then straightened up is worth more than the person who always did the right thing. That mentality has been the curse of my own life – I got tired of seeing other people getting Get Of Jail Free cards – and helped to drive me away from my Christian roots, toward Eastern philosophy.
