Spago had one of it’s most memorable lunchtimes yesterday – Oprah and her book club friends were there, PLUS, purely by coincidence, Dog the Bounty Hunter! No, he wasn’t hot on anybody’s trail, but he sure was an eyeful for other diners. Duane Chapman and his wife Beth were dressed in their usual biker inspired garb and both seemed to have fresh extensions. They are definitely not a tyical Spago lunch couple but that’s what makes Hollywood fun. Our photographer says Duane and Beth were friendly and shook his hand!

thats his real (albeit dyed) hair. he usually wears a ponytail. he is the one who caught the heir to max factor who had used date rape drugs and sexually assaulted numerous women in malibu…Andrew Luster…anyways, that asshole ran out of the country before he was to go to trial, and dog the bounty hunter was the only one with the balls to track down and capture that cockroach in cancun, mexico. …for that, i respect this guy.
I think it’s nice that after having his own show he’s still with his wife. If anything they’re a good example to follow for the fickle hollywood crowd who jump from bed to bed constantly. I like them. They could sit next to me at Spago or Mr. Chow’s anytime.

I think they’re “real” people. What you see is what you get. The show is very funny and enjoyable to watch. Better than The Hogans or Carters. A&E cancelled Growing up Gotti and kept with Dog the Bounty Hunter, it just shows you what the American TV audience likes to watch 😉

Yeah he has a lot of problems…she is like #1 in my book! In stead of living it up they better be socking it away for their future because this show won’t last forever…and POOF! they will all be gone! i think that there is a really creepy side to reality tv and celebutardom…its that people that you have never ever met think that they know you. that just has to be kinda weird at times.
Beth didn’t like the fact that I was friends with Duane Lee. Also, I set up a fundraiser for Hurricane Relief after Katrina. I asked Duane Lee who asked Leland, and they both agreed to autograph a pic to be auctioned off. I emailed Beth asking if Dog and Beth would be interested in doing one, but of course, never heard back from her. Duane Lee and Leland were given major kudos for doing this.. That seemed to piss off Beth even more, that they (DL and Leland) were given recognition and she wasn’t. She has threatened me with Lawsuit after lawsuit, told me she had me on the HPD stalker list ( I called to ask about this- they laughed- sounds like she has told alot of people that) I was told A&E and Hybrid were going to sue me. She even tried saying that the money raised for Hurricane Relief was a hoax. That I kept it. ( I have a copy of the check sent to Duane Lee so that he could donate to his local chapter of the Red Cross) It just never ends with her.

I like Dog, but not enough to be treated like dirt by the people running the “official” mess they call a forum. I hear it’s run by Beth’s sister. It is bad, birdie. I am a huge fan of Duane Chapman’s. I think he is suffering from some terrible advice from the people who are supposed to helping his career. Beth is a real problem, and Mona, the publicist, is too close to the situation to be objective or maybe she is just afraid of making Beth mad. Hopefully, the Firm can step in and stop Beth from ruining everything Dog has worked for. Beth needs to stop threatening people, move back, and let the guys do what they do best.
