No sooner had we heard that Chelsea Handler invested six million dollars in a new Bel Air estate, than she was spotted shopping for items for her new home. Chelsea’s new and gorgeous 5800 sq ft mansion has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms and a 50 foot pool with an outdoor fireplace. (Can’t you picture Chelsea and 50 Cent lounging at the pool?) We’re particularly impressed by the closet with a view. Obviously the talk show queen is doing well, but she’s still thrifty. She was seen yesterday clad in white cowboy boots pushing a shopping cart full of paper products, candles, and trinkets at Target. When fans greeted her she gave them a fast nod and quickly went about her business.

Wow, whether old money or new, rich people are always the same. They will spend $5K a night on a luxury suite in Tahiti, and buy a new Porsche twice a year, but when it comes to running their households they are Ebeneezer Scrooge. The Reaganomics trickle-down-theory would actually work you know, if the rich spent their money in own country — by paying their household staff decent money and subscribing to luxury services — rather than penny-pinching domestically and dropping wads of cash all over the rest of the world.
I like Chelsea, love the kitchen with that big window along the whole wall, but that is just too much beige in the rest of the house.
Well there another way of looking at it and that’s trickle up poverty which most democrats favor and that hasn’t worked to well with Obama.
Sal, the house was staged for sale, and the stager missed with the Venetian mirror and chandlier with all the beige.
