A few days before his court appearance on involuntary manslaughter charges, Michael Jackson’s physician Dr Conrad Murray paid a visit to Jackson’s grave at Forest Lawn cemetery. He was photographed looking serious and contrite, perhaps in hopes of drumming up some sympathy for his malpractice accusations. Last we heard, he is expected to appear in court on Monday.

Once upon a time there was a destitute doctor of moderate talent. Rich, addicted rock star’s handlers found him and told him they’d pay him a ton of money to move to Michael’s, prescribe drugs, and administer them when requested. The patient requested more and more, and the doctor acquiesced, not wanting to lose his sugar daddy. Patient finally asked for an overdose, and doctor was busted for manslaughter. Family is “shocked,” fans knew their star was an addict all along. Let’s move on.
Seriously. This guy may not be an angel BUT there are a ton of other doctors etc… that were involved in MJ’s demise – to include MJ himself. This guy almost seems like a scapegoat. MJ died from MANY things and many people.
He did what MJ told him to do, he doesn’t hold all the blame. Many at fault, they all knew he was on drugs, you can’t convince me they didn’t.
The Hippocratic oath says “First do no harm” as a doctor I’d say he blew that one big time. This man is no doctor, he is a quack to the fullest extent and should absolutely do time, bigtime. MJ was dead a long time before anybody was actually called out to help. What was he doing meanwhile? Covering his tracks! Hang his ass and hang him high!!
I disagree Palermo. He is a doctor. He should not do what the patient tells him to do. He should do what he is trained to do and not be influenced by who is paying the bill. Giving MJ a medicine that should not be used at home is a huge mistake and although it was not illegal at the time, I am more than sure laws are going to change.
I think because of his debts, his lawyers were able to use him; locked down the performance deal and his will and property, and made sure there were doctors around administering dangerous substances.
What a sad farce MJ’s personal life was, and this guy will go down in infamy as one of the pivotal players.
He should be in jail for pushing pills and other drugs and so many dr get away with murder every day knowing the facts of mixing depression pills with pain pills is sudden death and they get away with it on so many levels…Because the drug companys are backing them up in this and pill pushing pigs.
He got away with Murder and.. He gets to walk away with a slap on his hand and will never go down for what he has done… Dr don’t care about peoples health and they never ever go over side effects with there patients and cross side effects and…Matter of fact they often keep people in the dark and never address the issues and of course Cahootville is something every one wants $$$$ Money is key and a good lieing lawyer is something every one wants truth and honesty don’t go hand in hand and if all lawyers would act like Perry Mason Justice would happen in this world.
