Dr Robert Rey never fails to attract our attention- even when he’s taking a break from plastic surgery at Starbucks. It’s interesting that he never removes that stethoscope around his neck – is it a fashion accessory? Our internist doesn’t even wear one of those. Also, Puff Daddy will be happy to know that it looks like the Dr 90210 star wears Crocs too.

More well known and interesting would be: Brad and Angelina, Jen Aniston, George Clooney, Drew Barrymore, Sandra Bullock, Britney Spears.

What’s more stupid looking than the constant stethoscope is the horribly short-sleeved scrubs shirt. He looks absolutely rediculous showing off his muscles like a childish teenager. He needs to grow the hell up and be a mature adult. I’ve watched his show and have NEVER seen him USE that stethoscope.
He looks totally unprofessional at all times, I wouldn’t trust him to clip a hangnail from me

I haven’t seen his show. The times I’ve seen him in interviews, he does seem to have “used to be invisible wimp and wants to be noticed” syndrome, but for a plastic surgeon he really seems to empathize with his patients and see them as people, rather than the “oh, we have to fix this, and this, and this” attitude that so many of them seem to have (Although perhaps it’s the “we have to fix everything about you” ones who get on tv). But although his chosen look is a little odd, so far, I like him.

Why does anyone even give this guy the time of day? – He is one of a score of unpleasant, disturbing and disturbed reality stars.
That’s his style – that’s his thing.
He also spends time every year helping those who need surgery for hair lip or similar, people from poor countries who could never afford it, he does for free.
I used to watch his show and enjoyed him, (I don’t bother with E anymore). Not sure what he saw in the wife, he never seem to be able to have a ‘sensible’ conversation with her and she was way to thin and whiny/never happy. He’s seems a happy go lucky guy, who has worked hard to get where he is, and had to contend with an abusive father.
He has and is doing well – good for him.
A lot of medical professionals wear Croc’s because they provide comfort when on your feet constantly, but Croc’s still rock.
Seems like a nice enough guy. Compassionate shallow flashy.
He and Bill Rancid have something in common such as anorexic whiny wenches as wives. Ever wonder why would rich famous men marry women so damn wrong for them? What the good Dr.and Bill Rancid also have in common is an obvious lack of passion and chemistry with their wives…
What I am saying is they ping like crazy Dr.is very fey and nellie while Bill has the blank face of a closet case.
It looks like his office is about 3 doors down and he walked out for a second to get some air and a mochalatte. He probably wears the scope all day and doesn’t even think about it being there.

I think doctors and other medical care professionals wearing their scrubs on the street is so unhygienic. I feel this is the reason getting staphs infections WHILE IN A HOSPITAL is on the rise. While its might be b*tch to change ur clothes just run out to get coffee but at the very least change ur shoes. Dr. Rey is a surgeon so that means he is dragging germs from the street into the operating room.
