EDDIE MURPHY’S COMING BACK TO TV WITH A BADGE

Aside from Shrek, Eddie Murphy’s movie career has been lukewarm and he’s turning back to TV and his old stand-by “Beverly Hills Cop.” Eddie’s role as Axel Foley in the movie made him a big movie star. Now Eddie and the creator of “The Shield,Shawn Ryan, have a TV series based on Beverly Hills Cop that they are pitching to various networks. In the series Eddie would play the chief of police and his “son,“ a new cop on the force, would be the real star. Eddie would only make occasional appearances. We’re guessing one of the networks will snap this up in a hurry.

  1. Judging from the crap Hollywood puts out, they’ll snatch anything & it usually spells disaster.

  2. he MUST play the police officer himself!!
THIS WILL BRING MEMORY BACK TO PEOPLE!!

…….he is still Axle Foley. Just a bit older but everybody is!!

  3. Absolutely horrible “idea.” Even for free, there isn’t a thing you could put him in that would hold my attention for a minute. He’s done all the jokes and worn all the fat suits and played all the various but still Eddie charactors I want to ever be tortured by. PLEASE…NO…JUST…GO…AWAY!

  4. Dear Eddie Murphy..Please make another movie instead..Love to hear you swear and talk Shit and have your dirty jokes kick off instead… I love the movies you did and thought how amazing and really love the swearing and all the rude remarks are killer but to tame that and tone it down..Is going to kill it off and take away something that is classic and pushy and..I Love the straight up…Being straight and kicking people in the ass with hurtful humor and if you take away that spice and groove this show is going to suck ass and really flip and flop and make the other wonderful killer show..Look like shit and it is better to stick to something that is Dirty and Nasty and allowing yourself to say every wonderful word that comes out of his head….Please make it a movie and add in words that are Freaky and Nasty and love that madness and funny-ness together but not tamed and nice-nice stuff, I love Blunt and to the Point.
